The please give Arumba a job Paradox thread

So, for those of you who don't know Arumba. He is a YouTuber who does let's plays on Paradox games as well as other games. Specializing for example on EUIV. He has quite an impressive set of skills, and his input finds his way regularly into Paradox games.

Now Arumba has stated a number of times that he would like to work for Paradox.

Quite a number of people, including myself, have been complaning about some of the (state) of the features of the game when expansions are released for example.

So I would like to respectfully ask the community and Paradox if they have a suitable job for Arumba, say as tester for example, to give him a fair change.

Arumba you put a lot of dedication and effort into the let's plays and feedback of Paradox games.
For all those hours of entertainment and working on improving the game, this is just a small way of giving back and saying thank you.

I don't think Arumba would want to work for Paradox instead of himself (youtube, twitch, donations etc)

edit: What he has stated as I remember it, is that he would like to do stuff like beta testing, and give advises on general feature design (as he already do in many of his videos). I really doubt, he would like to move to Sweden to become a QA like DDRjake.

edit2: If he did want a job, I also think he can apply for it himself. He do even know quite a few of the devs already.

You would have to ask him. It's not for me to discuss someone's financial situation here, which I won't do.

What I will say is that I use an add blocker, and rarely click on ads anyway. I can imagine many more people do as well given the annoyance of ads and popularity of ad blockers.

One doesn't have to be in Sweden to work for a software company. Plenty of ways to work digital.
I wouldn't take a job as YouTuber, would be too afraid that the income wasn't enough to unstable, and prefer a stable job with regular income.

I, for one, would miss his input and testing if he got a job somehwere else and didn't have time anymore for the Paradox stuff.

I just wanted to put it out there, and that if he would want to work for Paradox, and they have a position that they do give it fair consideration.

He has my vote for a job.

Now if Arumba was visiting Sweden and one day while out touring the city he sees a car swerve along the frozen roadway and crash into the metal railing of a bridge and hang there precariously over the edge and he leaps out and pulls an unconscious Johan out of the driver's seat moments before the car topples over the edge, then yeah, that's the sort of thing you get a gratuity of a job for.

This is the main youtuber i watched to learn how to play the game. His guide series video's explain the different features in 3min video's

Considering the tutorial is basic to put it nicely, and left many unanswered questions for a new player like myself, you could at least get his input on a decent tutorial for the next game in the series.

I watch arumba streams and YouTube videos. However I don't think he is one of the best at playing this game. A lot of times it's just pure luck that saves his skin from a pretty unorthodox decision he made earlier. Other times he just misses things that are right in front of him.

Now you might ask why I watch his content. I find Arumba a very friendly guy who can create a lot of hype for this game with his vivid commentary. I love his voice and his dialogues with AI. He is always there to answer questions or give advice.

Anyway if pdx wanted to hire him they would and if I was Arumba I would ask you not to talk for myself.

Lastly I would like to point out that if Arumba himself made this post I would support him 100% without further comment, but since this is someone else's idea I dare point some things out.

Yeah I hear what you're saying, and it's a fair point. On the other hand he talked about it publicly several times, so then someone shouldn't talk about that on air? I don't know.

The topic was written with the holiday spirit in mind and to give him a good start for the new year.

I support Arumba, he seems reasonable and sensible in the same way as PDX while they do have their flaws both of them hopefully it would improve them overall and can't see why they shouldn't find a place for him if he wants it...

When did youtubers all the sudden deserve self entitled jobs just because they play that companies games? Frankly I dont know who this Abercrombie kid is but does he have the skill set or education for the job? other than staying at home playing video games for ad revenue.

People who went to school and majored in game development (who also love games) deserve a job more than some youtubers.
