Yesterday's beta patch fixed a lot of bugs, and that's nice, but one serious bug persists (new Leaders not having any Skills), and its presence makes me disinclined to play Stellaris "for real".
Instead, I play in a pseudo explotory style, exploring the new game mechancis and Techs, using constant console commands to create stored Science, and to gift myself with as many resources as I need, without taking the game seriously.
It also means I play a lot less than I'd otherwise do. An hour and a half on average, at most, per day, instead of something like 4-5 hours on average.
This has gone on now for 9 days, and since it's a Saturday today, it's extremely unlikely that there'll be another bugfix patch until Monday, so at least 2 more days, possibly 3 or 4, for a total of 11+.
I want to start playing, but that one particular bug has been a painful Blocker for - now - 9 days!
