I just noticed that the Persian and Mughal Flags look VERY much alike...

and was wondering about the historical basis of that... besides maybe the Developers picking a pretty flag that is representative of that country...
For instance, I theorized it was that the Timurids that formed the Empire of the Mughals thought of themselves as Exiles to Persia, and showed themselves (in their flags) as We are the cool true rulers of Persia... more or less.
on this line of thought, there are times i have wanted to ask the developers Why did they do something a certian way and not another... I always do that to people though, i always want to know why something was done this way, or why things cant be done some other way... not really in an agast sense or oh my god, you're stupid you should do it this way... my way... more the i am curious why did you pick this particular path or idea...
But i am curious to those flags, and was wondering if anyone on the Forums knew.
