So EU4 runs a little sluggish (when zooming and moving the map) on my laptop. No big deal, but as CK2 runs perfectly, this is a little annoying.

After messing around with the graphics settings, I came to the conclusion that if I turned off rivers, the sluggishness is gone completely and the game ran much smoother.

So, maybe this is something for the devs to look into...

Every PDS game have this when your computer cant handle all the graphics. With my old computer I used to remove threes and install custom (ugly) maps to be able to play Vicky2 properly. At one point I had to turn off advanced waters in EU3. This is nothing new. Whats new is that you have the option in the menu, witch make it more obvious.
