2000 - 1900 B.C.
The first recorded human civilization is established within Perinia, named the Oradon.
They begin worshipping the gods of fire, sea, air, sun, etc… and are structured as a theocratic monarchy. They are also known for the great pyramids they built
1900 - 1800 B.C.

The First Ketronian civilization, the Baxohka, believe in an animist pantheon. They are led by a hereditary monarchy, and are considered to be the first great sailors in history
The First Cirosian civilization, the Meron believe in an animist pantheon, coupled with gods of the forge, war and wisdom.They are a confederation of multiple clans, and are believed to be the first to master the crafting of bronze and iron
The First Hyaoxian civilization, the Zhekian worship their ancestors. They are guided by a philosophical oligarchy, and are seen as the first philosophers
1800 - 1700 B.C.
Long distance trade and diplomatic relations are difficult at first due to cultural suspicions and logistical issues.
Civilization’s begin to stabilize and settle themselves with the first governmental laws being written into existence.
Agriculture and Money are discovered and enter widespread usage.
1700 - 1600 B.C.

The First humans to arrive in the Gamihan islands.
The first written evidence of state sponsored warfare begin with tribes raiding each other.
With wealth and stability comes the first artists. This is called the “art explosion” by historians.
1600 - 1500 B.C.
Trade becomes mainstream and profitable appearing, due to iron tools, art, philosophical ideas and technological innovations. It’s an era of travel and enlightenment.
First humans move to Jyaoki
1500 - 1400 B.C.
The island kingdoms of Gamiha start appearing. Due to their environment, they become masters of navigation. Their pantheon becomes based on heroes and their legends. Soon, there exists a great number of independent kingdoms, warring, trading between each other
The nomad tribes Jyaoki start forming. They also worship their ancestors. They are the first to raise cattle. Their society is quite unstable, as political alliances are based on who’s the leader at the time.
1400 - 1300 B.C.
Mankind enters an era of prosperity, due to trading. Litterature, art, smithing, etc. it is known as the Golden Age.
1300 - 1200 B.C.

The Yerosat supervolcano in Perinia erupts.
Ash blots out the sun for several days, and causes widespread droughts and famine occur causing massive destabilization of civilizations across Patria.
Causing refugees to flee wherever they can lead to a sharp increase in banditry with the first Pirate Kings appearing during this time.
Resource wars become mainstream and the first civilizations of mankind slowly crumble, with the exception of the Gamiha and Jyaoki.
1200 - 1100 B.C.
A dark age begins, with technological regression, old cities are abandoned in favour of more secluded and easily defendable positions
The Zhekian civilization in Hyaoxi dissolves into city states. They manage to survive the dark age, but standards of living are drastically lower. The city states focus on preserving relics of the previous era, which is seen as a golden age.
1100 - 1000 B.C.
Civilization slowly begins reappearing across Ciros with the first major city known as Astora being established up. Within half a century the city becomes prosperous with many innovations from the previous age (urban planning, sewers, public wells) being rediscovered and utilized.
The Caltric culture is first recorded within Ciros. made of many clans living in sync with nature.
1000 - 900 B.C.
Astora begins expanding its borders through diplomacy and conquest all the while greatly expanding its influence and military. The Republic appears, with the idea of citizens electing Senators, who debate and vote the laws. Only people born in Astora of astoran parents are citizens, if they have completed their military service.
The Caltric culture expands over all of Ciros, except for the Astoran peninsula
On Ketron, the Olakos culture starts appearing, rebuilding over the old cities. Each city becomes independent, leading to a complex system of alliances between each city-states
900 - 800 B.C.
First Caltric - Astoran wars. The astorans win most of these conflicts, expanding their territories
800 - 700 B.C.
Highest point of the Caltric - Astoran wars. The Caltrics have formed a league to try and oppose the military might of Astora. The Battle of Oredia in 734 B.C. is a major defeat for the Caltrics, and ensures Astoran domination all over Ciros
Hyaoxi experiences a scientific revolution with the advent of alchemy. It is however quickly stopped by a counter cultural revolution, and the philosophical idea of “Immobilism”. The city states are trying to preserve the rests of perceived golden age, and fear that moving forward too fast will erase what is left.
700 - 600 B.C.
The Evrat city-state becomes the most prominent city on Ketron. Their polytheistic pantheon starts developing, each city state has its own interpretation
600 - 500 B.C.

Astora finishes its conquest of Ciros and starts developing diplomatic relations with nation states within Hyaoxi and Ketron. International trade resumes after 600 years.
500 - 400 B.C.
Astora reinforces its power and is now the biggest military power in the world at this point. In reaction, the Hyaoxian city states swear the Oath of Bao (name of the city state where it was sworn upon), which is non aggression and mutual defensive pact.
The ketronian city states ally under the leadership of Evrat as the League of Ketron to try and cull the Astoran influence
400 - 300 B.C.
As it grows in power, population and complexity, administrating the Astoran Republic becomes more difficult. The Senate decides to create provinces, named “Stratas” each governed by a “Strator”.
Astora sees that a military campaign against the League of Ketron or the Oath of Bao would be extremely difficult and lead to little gains as such it attempts to sway city states on each side with promises of special treatment, to no avail.
300 - 200 B.C.
Due to rising tensions between Evrat and Merok, a militaristic city state, the League of Ketron collapses, and two new leagues appear, the League of Evrat and the League of Merok. They immediately declare war on each other in 311 B.C.
The League of Merok gets military and economic support from Astora, as the Astorans hope they might join the Republic willingly afterwise, as a new Strata.
In the beginning, Evrat and its allies score several victories however Astoran economic and military support eventually turns the tide of the war in favor of the Merok leading to a Merokian Victory in 333 B.C.
Shortly after the war Merok attempts to sever ties with Astora, which in response threatens to invade if they do not accept integration. Weakened after 22 years of war, the League of Merok has no other choice than accept.
200 - 100 B.C.

The Strators manage to secure more and more power, becoming more akin to local lords than administrators. A political rivalry begins between them and the Senate, leading to an era of political instability, with the life expectancy of the Strators and Senators decreasing rapidly due to widespread assassinations and infighting.
100 - 0 B.C.
The Senate attempts to limit the Strator’s power by electing a Dictator, a general named Delcadius Melletor, and giving him every power required to lead the Republic in 31 B.C. This leads to moderate success, until 14 B.C. when he is assassinated. The Strator’s immediately begin declaring independence from Astora and civil war ensues.
After Collapse Calendar Begins

0-100 A.C.
The Republic officially collapses. From this, 7 independent nations appear, all pretending to be the actual Astoran Republic. Political instability is higher than ever, with Strators being assassinated often and with seccessionist movements being commonplace.
Over time each “Astorian Republic” abandons their claim and renames themselves : the Kingdom of Valois, the Grand Duchy of Laconia, the Kingdom of Istriya, the Reich of Oschwartz, the Kingdom of Venland, the Principality of Krazowitz, and finally, the Dictat of Astora itself, reduced only to the Astoran peninsula.
Each monarch manages to get the rebellious local governors and generals to swear fealty to them, although they keep their independence. This is considered the start of the feudal system.
Ketron gets its independence by default and becomes an oligarchy, with its capital being Merok.
100 - 200 A.C.
Era of political stabilization, each new kingdom is busy trying to stabilize its internal politics, and have all their local lords swear fealty to them.
The feudal system works on a simple principle : the lord keeps his independence and he gets protection from the king, but he owes him allegiance and must obey him.
200 - 300 A.C.
A new religion appears, preached by the prophet Teod. He speaks of a single god, Ega, and preaches compassion, forgiveness, protection of the weak, altruism and sharing with the poor. He writes his ideas in a collection of texts which over time becomes known as the Book of Promises. Him and his followers are called the “Orat”, and his religion, “Oratism”, as they go from city to city, delivering speeches on the main square to try and convince people.
Oratism becomes popular really quickly due to most people’s disillusion with the old gods, who did not intervened in the last difficult centuries, when they were needed.
300 - 400 A.C.
Era of wars between each kingdoms. Losses and gains in territory are generally minor. Lots of military innovations in weaponry, armor, siege weapons, tactics, cavalry, etc…
The lords become more powerful, and the peasants poorer. The serf system appears.
The oratic religion spreads, and gets adopted by all the powerful lords, with their vassals usually following.
400 - 500 A.C.
Oratism becomes the mainstream religion on Ciros, and the official religion in all of the continents kingdoms. The kings manage to reduce their vassal’s power and reinforce their own political position. This century marks the start of the great wars between kingdoms.
The Ketronian Council is formed in Merok, in order to better rule Ketron. One representative of each city sieges, and together they vote on the issues to settle.
500 - 600 A.C.
Known as the century of war. Kingdoms try to conquer each other in order to reform the Astoran Republic, to no avail.
600 - 700 A.C.
End of feudalism, with the final steps taken by the monarchs to cement their authority as absolute.
The Temple of the Word is founded in Astora, as a place for followers of oratism to understand the Book of Promises better. Priests, named “Orators” are sent to all towns across Ciros in order to better teach people about oratism. High Orators gather in the Temple itself in order to interpret to the Book, and elect a First Orator as a leader for all believers of the faith.
Oratism starts spreading to Ketron with difficulties
700 - 800 A.C.
The first major alliances on Ciros form through royal marriages.
The Temple’s authority begins to expand across Ketron, despite the Ketronian Governements refusal to acknowledge it.
The Hyaoxian city states decide to forbid entrance to foreigners, and add that clause to the Oath of Bao. It is then decided to turn it into the Council of Bao, which has the responsibility to modify the Oath if needs be, slowly making it the de facto government of Hyaoxi as the century goes on.
The First Orator Marcus Cassius becomes the Dictator of Astora through political manipulation, turning the Dictat of Astora into the Holy Kingdom of Astora and making the position of First Orator similar to the position of a king
800 - 900 A.C.
The War of the Kings begins. The King of Venland dies without any clear heir, leaving two possibilities. The Vanswick House, supported by Krazowitz, Oschwartz, and Istriya, versus the Orbor House, supported by Valois and Laconia, with Astora sitting the war out.
It’s a difficult war which ends with an entire different house, the Lesceiter House, which exploits the complex alliances between noble houses, and the difficult political times, to obtain the throne in 872
Okros, an orator in Ketron, decides to try and reform the Book of Promises and adapt it to ketronian society. He proposes a more liberal interpretation of the book, and introduces the idea that everyone should think on it and interpret it on his own way, and then share these ideas with other followers, so that they may debate on it and further their collective interpretation of it. Okros and his followers are quickly nicknamed the “cogistos” or the “cogist” movement, and this new way to teach the Book of Promises becomes quite popular in Ketron. The Temple sees that offshoot as a possible form of heresy, but doesn’t act on it yet.
900 - 1000 A.C.
The Cogist movement spreads to Ciros. The First Orator at the time, Pius Olanius, declares it heretical, and demands that all oratic nations hunt down any cogist. Persecution begins all over Ciros, and culminate in 952 when the Temple orders war against Ketron.
This becomes known as the Pious March. It ends in 967, without any real gains. A difficult atmosphere reigns from then on between cogists and oratics.
1000 - 1100 A.C.
The first explorers leave towards Perinia, and Jyaoki, bringing stories sparking the people’s imagination. Some manage to get access to hyaoxian cities and bring back the idea of alchemy, and with it, ideas of manipulating nature and experimenting. This kickstarts the idea of empiricism and the beginnings of the scientific method.
In 1033 a ketronian thinker, Aléos, reveals his theory of movement and how the referential is of importance. He also advances the idea of heliocentrism, that the sun is the center of the universe, and not Patria.
The Temple tries to control all these new thinkers in order to keep it compatible with the Book of Promises. It is however largely a failure, as the kingdoms are more interested in the new military possibilities rather than keeping a stable social order. The Temple’s influence begins to wane.
The first university opens in Laconia in 1051, most other kingdoms end up opening their own.
1100 - 1200 A.C.
Valois, Laconia, Venland and Istriyab begin colonizing Jyaoki and Perinia, founding colonies that over time become quite profitable due to the export of natural resources found there towards the mainland. Relations with the local populations prove difficult, but the technological and military superiority of the Cirosian power's proves enough to ensure their dominance in the region.
In 1148, Hunter Daremg invents and popularises the printing press.
1200 - 1300 A.C.
Oschwartz and Valois go to war over the region of Lenrent from 1223 to 1227, ending up on valoisian victory. The war is however too taxing, and to avoid economic ruin, Valois sells its colonies on the Perinian coast to Venland, which ends up with total control over Perinia, unifies the settlements, and creates the colony of Perinia, with New Port as its colonial capital
1300 - 1400 A.C.
Perinia’s economic development progresses rapidly, and it quickly becomes an indispensable part of Venland’s economy.
in 1320, a coalition of all Cirosian powers threatens the Council of Bao with war if they don’t open the cities. With the disparity in power Hyaoxi is forced to open up. The Cirosian powers carve up spheres of influence.
Exploration starts on the interior of Jyaoki, yielding little results, and contact is made with the island kingdoms of Gamiha, which are extremely impressed with the cirosian ships and weapons.
The formula to create gunpowder is perfected, and the first guns start appearing in battles.
1400 - 1500 A.C.
The age of guns and canons starts, making traditional warfare obsolete in the course of a century.
The first banks and trading corporations appear.
An intermediate social class between the serfs and the nobles appears, living in the cities, or “bourg” in valoisian, they are named “bourgeoisie”. These are often traders, or very successful artisans.
The first manufactures are set up.
1500 - 1600 A.C.
[The long last Oradon Pyramid's are redicovered]
Known as the age of exploration, adventurers travel all the continents. The Oradon pyramids are rediscovered in the deep forests of Perinia, and archeologists start uncovering Patria’s past.
With this, the Astoran Republic and its political system are rediscovered. These ideas find a large public in Perinia, and “republicans” there start advocating for independence from Venland
1600 - 1700 A.C.
The industrial revolution begins, with the advent of steam power and steam machines. A new way to make goods appears.
Cirosian powers start colonizing Gamiha, although the distance makes efforts difficult.
In 1682 Valois declares war on Venland over commercial routes. Perinia uses that war to declare its independance, and declare itself a Republic, the first to exist in more than 1500 years. Perinia uses its economic power to support the valoisian war effort, and sends volunteers. At the same time, they fight off the Venlish garrisons there and sink the Venlish ships patrolling the Perinian coast. Valois wins the war in 1687
The scientific method is solidified and discoverers and inventors transition from nobles, to educated “bourgeois” who dedicated their lives to one discipline.
Nicolas Edison in 1690 develops the first electrical network for New Port.
1700 A.C. - 1800 A.C.
The Cirosian kingdoms tighten their grip over Hyaoxi. A sentiment of hate and resentment develops against Ciros.
Industrialization accelerates, with more and more factories opening, and more and more items being produced this way.
The idea of capitalism develops, and as a reaction, social progressivism with the release of the book “A Treaty of Social Progress” by Leonad Marzow, a krazowitzan.
1800 - 1900 A.C.
In 1818, the first telephone lines are installed.
In may of 1831, the heir to the Kingdom of Istriya, Martin XIV is assassinated by Istriyan Republicans wanting to end the monarchy. Valois, Astora, Laconia and Istriya support his half - brother, Felipe de Gontès, while Oschwartz, Krazowitz and Venland support his cousin, Juan de Portaqis.
Threats of closing trade routes, expelling foreign citizens, closing borders, etc… are exchanged.
The issue is of high importance, as de Gontès has a claim on territories in Venland and Oschwartz, while de Portaqis has claims on many Astoran and Laconian territories.
Valois, Astora, Laconia and Istriya form The Quadruple Alliance, while Oschwartz, Krazowitz and Venland form The League of Cirros. Both of these leagues threaten each other with invasions to protect their own territories, and every kingdom starts mobilizing its army
On the 20th of june 1831, Oschwartz invades Astoran territories as a move of intimidation, hoping The Quadruple Alliance would fall back.
On the 28th of june 1831 The Quadruple Alliance formally declares war on Oschwartz and begins marching its armies into Oschwartz.
On the 2nd of july 1831, The League of Cirros formally declares war on The Quadruple Alliance in order to defend Oschwartz, and starts moving its troops.
The first battles begin on the 13th of august 1831 on Valoisian, Oschwartzian, and astoran territories. It is the most violent conflict in the history of Patria, with brutal trench warfare, more and more powerful artillery razing entire areas, and deadly chemical weapons being released on military and civilian targets.
In 1837, the first combat tanks appear on the frontlines
In 1844 the first combat planes
In 1847 the first RADAR systems
In 1848 automatic weapons and machine guns become common place
In 1851, Marsten mk 7 combat gas is released by Valois on the Lesrent region to prevent Oschwartz from taking it, completely contaminating the region and rendering it unsuitable for life.
In 1852, The Quadruple Alliance wins with the surrender of Oschwartz, Venland and Krazowitz. Ciros is in ruins, its economy is virtually non existent, and it has lost 21% of its total population.
Being unable to maintain power, the Cirosian colonies are de facto independent, at least until the mainland recovers.
Hyaoxi restores the Council of Bao and closes its borders again.
Perinia emerges as the only real winner of the war, having provided economic aid to The Quadruple Alliance in the form of food, guns, drugs, etc…. The Perinian senate sees the Cirosian tragedy as an opportunity to expand its republican model.
Albert Hartrow, a Perinian politician devises the Hartrow Doctrine in 1856 which states Perinia will provide economic and technological aid to Cirosian nations to help them rebuild, if they agree to adopt a Republican government, and to make important political reforms to provide more equality to its citizens.
Furthermore, they would have to adhere to an international organization, the Council of Nations, which would be charged with resolving international conflict to avoid another bloodshed such as this, and to ensure its members follow the People’s Right Charter, a charter which ensures each individual’s right. This charter is written by four Perinians, Hartrow, Wenson, Vartiz and Agos, and immediatly voted in the Perinian senate.
Hartrow is convinced that this way, Perinia may be able to assert economic, cultural and political dominance over the world.
Istriya is the first nation to accept Perinia’s offer in 1859, and becomes the Republic of Istriya.
In Valois, the social atmosphere is difficult : the people want reforms, and protest in the streets, but they are only met by brutal repression from the police. The nation slowly descends into quasi - civil war.
The Valoisian king, Fernand IV, refuses the conditions put on Perinian aid. The Perinian government then decides to support the revolutionaries through military council, logistics, and weapons delivery. The revolutionaries carry out more and more ambitious sabotage and propaganda operations, until the police and the army declare that they do not support the king anymore, prompting a quick but brutal revolt in which the royal family is captured and executed on the 2nd of may 1862.
The revolutionary regime begins with purges against the noble families, which are trying to flee the country towards the neighbouring Venland Kingdom. The “regime of terror” as it is called, lasts from 1862 to 1865 when it collapses due to the withdrawal of Perinian support. A new, more moderate, republican regime begins, which accepts the Perinian conditions and joins the Council of Nations as the Republic of Valois in 1868
The Reich of Oschwartz agrees to the conditions in 1870, when Kaiser Arthur II fears a revolution similar to the one in Valois might happen due to unrest growing in the capital. The Republic of Oschwartz joins the Council of Nations in 1871
In 1872 Evenheim publishes his theory of relativity
The Principality of Krazowitz follows in 1874 as they were very dependant on their former oschwartzian monarchist ally.
Venland, and Laconia refuse, due to a strong pro-monarchy sentiment there, and the accounts of purge and murder from valoisian noble who fled there. Astora refuses as they want to keep the First Orator as head of state and maintain their theocracy. Perinia starts a trading embargo on Venland, Laconia and Astora as an answer to their refusal denouncing them for being “selfish and authoritarian states, caring for the needs of the few over those of the many”.
Perinian efforts then turn to Ketron, it being the only nation still willing to trade with the last three monarchies. Ketron has accumulated an important technological and economic lag compared to Ciros : where the cirosian powers had the influx of wealth from their colonies, Ketron had to contend with poor natural resources and a weak military. They had accepted cirosian domination in order to not be completely left in the dust. The negotiations take a long time, and in the end, they accept the reforms and join the Council of Nations with sustained technological aid, and 20 year period where no foreign companies would be allowed to develop on Ketron, so that their own can develop. They join as the Republic of Ketron in 1882, and expel Venlish, Astoran and Laconian companies at the same time.
Following this event, the Laconian economy collapses, as it was heavily based on exportations and their main market just closed its doors. They try negotiating with Perinia so that they may keep their Grand Duke. Perinia poses the conditions that he may hold no power, and lets the negotiations drag on in order to force their hand. In 1889, with the looming presence of a grave economic crisis and a possible revolt, Laconia is forced to accept and joins the Council of Nations as the Constitutional Duchy of Laconia.
In 1886, Javier Goncalvès publishes his theory of nuclear fission
Astora tries to start negociations, with the express intent of keeping oratism as a state religion, which Perinia refuses. The Perinian government considers the joining of Venland and Astora to only be a question of time, and turns its attention to Jyaoki and the old cirosian colonies there. Negociations are quite short as they have been left to their own devices for almost 40 years and are glad to see some aid coming their way. They all join as one bloc in 1899
1900 - 2000 A.C
The Gamihan islands and Drengen agree to join the Council the Nations. Little changes are needed politically, and the main effort to produce is more to structure authority around a stable political entity. They both stay “in negotiations” for 10 years, while in reality, Perinia is helping them both to shape their governments into Republics. They both join in 1912
In 1913 Astora finally gives in to Perinian demands and accepts to join the Council of Nations as the Republic of Astora
In 1921, new negotiations happen at the Council to create a unique market, with no borders, and free movement of people, goods and capitals. This proposal is finalized and enters in effect in 1924 as the Patrian Economic Cooperation Area. This kickstarts globalization in a big way, with its lot of problems such a delocalizations.
Venland is now nicknamed the Hermit Kingdom due to its refusal to engage with the rest of the world and its obstination with keeping the monarchy in place.
Hyaoxi has difficulty with maintaining its isolation and the Council of Bao. Many young people leave the confederation for council nations in hopes of finding a better life there.
In 1927, the first prototypes of nuclear reactor are switched on. This is due to new scientific studies showing that petrol and coal based power plants are damaging the environment at alarming rates.
In 1931, New Port Nuclear Reactor is put online as a marketing stunt. It is highly effective, and the technology is shared with all council nations, with Perinian companies developing reactors all over the planet. Thanks to large uranium deposits in Jyaoki, the technology is considered as “the energy of the future”
In 1948, the first computers appear.
In 1960 the “computers explosion” happens with computer prices plummeting and their power reaching new heights : many tasks start being replaced with computers.
In 1964, the Gon Qi city state leaves the Council of Bao and breaks the Oath of Bao, and joins the Council of Nations. By grace of a domino effect all hyaoxian city states end up joining, Bao being the last one in 1978
In 1967 the first rockets escape Patria, with the first satellite in 1971 and the first man on the moon in 1977.
In 1991, Queen Marjory I of Venland starts fearing for a popular uprising. Most Venlish people now only feel resentment towards the nobility, and acts of terrorism against high borns are more and more commonplace. Repression doesn’t seem to work, and neither does counter revolutionary forces. The queen offers to accept Perinian conditions for entry in the Council of Nations if they can get the same exemption as Laconia did, and become a constitutional monarchy. Perinia accepts, and the Kingdom of Venland becomes the last nation to join the Council of Nations, which now gathers every nation on Patria.
In 1992 the first experimentations with computer networks start
2000 - 2100 A.C.
In 2002, the internet becomes a public and open market, and starts developing remarkably fast
In 2012, in a move to try and stop the problems posed by globalization, Perinia tries to push through the council the idea of an International Legislative Tribunal, through which a nation could sue over differences in laws, and force the other to adopt its own. The idea is extremely unpopular, but a venlish politician, Henry Oxworth uses the occasion to counter offer the idea of a Patrian Legislative Assembly, a legislative body through which laws could be passed and be applied in all nations. The idea is controversial at best, but thanks to Oxworth’s political experiences with manipulating and making alliances, it ends up passing with only Perinia, Valois, Istriya and Oschwartz voting against it.
In 2034 with the explosion of the electronic and high technologies market, more and more rare earth elements are needed. They are proving hard to find on Patria, but the idea of exploiting those present in the solar system starts spreading. Such an undertaking would be too much for one nation’s space agency, but by making one, international agency, it would be doable. The PLA passes the law in 2035, and in 2038, the Patrian Space Agency opens its doors. It completes its first mission in 2041 with sending an exploratory drone in the solar system, in order to identify the best rare earth asteroids.
In 2058 the Nuclear Waste Scandal happens. Gamihan journalist, Mauna O’kahui, reveals to the world that for the last 70 years, Perinia has been illegally dumping its nuclear waste in the Ohama archipelagos in the Gamihan islands. This allows them to keep pushing for nuclear power in Perinia by hiding its problems from the world. The Ohaman islands are now completely contaminated, and unsuitable for life. The radioactivity has seeped into the ground and has started to spread to neighbouring ecosystem through sea currents.
This is a shock for the rest of the world, the Patrian Energy Agency is created in order to regulate industry pollution, regulate nuclear technologies, and push alternative ways to produce power. Its first act is to create the Ohama Quarantine Area, and start decontamination efforts, albeit with very little success
This event causes a drop in confidence regarding nuclear technologies, and starts a rush towards renewable energies, which progressively replace nuclear reactor over the next two centuries on Patria.
In 2063 an anti-council terrorist group emerges in Jyaoki, and takes control of the Greater Plateau area. An international military coalition is formed in response, and as military cooperation becomes more and more necessary, council nations start merging their command center, creating the International Command Center. In 2069 Goaï, the last terrorist bastion, is taken, ending the threat. The Council votes on integrating military command in its prerogatives, creating the Patrian High Command.

In 2073, exploitation of space resources begins. It becomes quickly clear that dedicated orbital facilities are needed to maximize exploitation, and work begins on the Patrian Orbital Station in 2076, with it being finished in 2086

In 2077, a pro-unification political block appears in the Patrian Legislative Assembly. The idea of a political unification existed before, but it is the first time that a political formation is formed around it. The debate is quite difficult, with most people against fearing that the people might lose their say over their own destiny, and most people in favour arguing that it is merely a question of symbol, as legislative, military, energy, and space administration are already out of the hands nations. The Council starts an official debate over the question in 2078, which lasts 7 months. In 2079, the vote happens, the Republic of Patria is formed. The Patria Legislative Assembly becomes the Patrian Senate, and the position of Chancellor is created, serving as head of state with Lucius Alexandr being elected the Republic’s first ever Chancellor.
2100 - 2200 A.C.
In 2117, Galéno de Marzi publishes his theory on the galaxy’s gravitational structure, and its relation with star systems, also called the Hyperlane Theory.
In 2131, the first permanent resource extraction space station opens.
In 2142, Pavel Zorlowski publishes its theory on space folding engines, and how Faster Than Light travel could realistically work.
In 2149, space travel becomes common place with dozens of companies competing for contracts to establish mining bases across the Solar System.
In 2168, a Cargo Frigate owned by the Perinian Space Corporation is hijacked and crashes into the Patrian Orbital Station killing all on board the Frigate and damaging the station beyond repair. This act of terrorism sends shock waves throughout Patria as to how defenseless the government was to deal with such a threat.
2169, due to the loss of the Patrian Orbital Station, Patria's Parliament's authorizes the construction of the The Patrian Republic's Space Command Center near Patria's star Patrium as well as the official creation of the P.R.S.D.F. also known as the Patrian Republic Solar Defense Force which was armed with thirty Janao Fighters which although no larger than a aerial fighter was capable of quickly patrolling the Solar System and if needed utilizing its mass drivers to disable any hostile threats.

In 2183, the first Schmitthausler - Morin Engine prototype is unveiled, also called the Hyperlane Engine. Its first test in 2184 is a resounding success
In 2189, several space probes utilizing the Morin Engine begin construction and are sent into neighboring solar systems.
In 2192, The senate votes on Project Voidwatcher : Patria Space Agency will build 5 FTL capable spaceships : a construction ship, an exploration ship, and 3 military ships for defensive measures, “should the stars be less welcoming than anticipated”.
in 2199, Project Voidwatcher is completed with the newly ships preparing for the first manned hyperlane jumps into foreign systems in the year 2200.

They begin worshipping the gods of fire, sea, air, sun, etc… and are structured as a theocratic monarchy. They are also known for the great pyramids they built

Long distance trade and diplomatic relations are difficult at first due to cultural suspicions and logistical issues.
Civilization’s begin to stabilize and settle themselves with the first governmental laws being written into existence.
Agriculture and Money are discovered and enter widespread usage.
1700 - 1600 B.C.

The first written evidence of state sponsored warfare begin with tribes raiding each other.
With wealth and stability comes the first artists. This is called the “art explosion” by historians.
1600 - 1500 B.C.
Trade becomes mainstream and profitable appearing, due to iron tools, art, philosophical ideas and technological innovations. It’s an era of travel and enlightenment.
First humans move to Jyaoki
1500 - 1400 B.C.
The island kingdoms of Gamiha start appearing. Due to their environment, they become masters of navigation. Their pantheon becomes based on heroes and their legends. Soon, there exists a great number of independent kingdoms, warring, trading between each other
The nomad tribes Jyaoki start forming. They also worship their ancestors. They are the first to raise cattle. Their society is quite unstable, as political alliances are based on who’s the leader at the time.
1400 - 1300 B.C.
Mankind enters an era of prosperity, due to trading. Litterature, art, smithing, etc. it is known as the Golden Age.
1300 - 1200 B.C.

Ash blots out the sun for several days, and causes widespread droughts and famine occur causing massive destabilization of civilizations across Patria.
Causing refugees to flee wherever they can lead to a sharp increase in banditry with the first Pirate Kings appearing during this time.
Resource wars become mainstream and the first civilizations of mankind slowly crumble, with the exception of the Gamiha and Jyaoki.
1200 - 1100 B.C.
A dark age begins, with technological regression, old cities are abandoned in favour of more secluded and easily defendable positions
The Zhekian civilization in Hyaoxi dissolves into city states. They manage to survive the dark age, but standards of living are drastically lower. The city states focus on preserving relics of the previous era, which is seen as a golden age.
1100 - 1000 B.C.
Civilization slowly begins reappearing across Ciros with the first major city known as Astora being established up. Within half a century the city becomes prosperous with many innovations from the previous age (urban planning, sewers, public wells) being rediscovered and utilized.
The Caltric culture is first recorded within Ciros. made of many clans living in sync with nature.
1000 - 900 B.C.
Astora begins expanding its borders through diplomacy and conquest all the while greatly expanding its influence and military. The Republic appears, with the idea of citizens electing Senators, who debate and vote the laws. Only people born in Astora of astoran parents are citizens, if they have completed their military service.
The Caltric culture expands over all of Ciros, except for the Astoran peninsula
On Ketron, the Olakos culture starts appearing, rebuilding over the old cities. Each city becomes independent, leading to a complex system of alliances between each city-states
900 - 800 B.C.
First Caltric - Astoran wars. The astorans win most of these conflicts, expanding their territories
800 - 700 B.C.
Highest point of the Caltric - Astoran wars. The Caltrics have formed a league to try and oppose the military might of Astora. The Battle of Oredia in 734 B.C. is a major defeat for the Caltrics, and ensures Astoran domination all over Ciros
Hyaoxi experiences a scientific revolution with the advent of alchemy. It is however quickly stopped by a counter cultural revolution, and the philosophical idea of “Immobilism”. The city states are trying to preserve the rests of perceived golden age, and fear that moving forward too fast will erase what is left.
700 - 600 B.C.
The Evrat city-state becomes the most prominent city on Ketron. Their polytheistic pantheon starts developing, each city state has its own interpretation
600 - 500 B.C.

Astora finishes its conquest of Ciros and starts developing diplomatic relations with nation states within Hyaoxi and Ketron. International trade resumes after 600 years.
500 - 400 B.C.
Astora reinforces its power and is now the biggest military power in the world at this point. In reaction, the Hyaoxian city states swear the Oath of Bao (name of the city state where it was sworn upon), which is non aggression and mutual defensive pact.
The ketronian city states ally under the leadership of Evrat as the League of Ketron to try and cull the Astoran influence
400 - 300 B.C.
As it grows in power, population and complexity, administrating the Astoran Republic becomes more difficult. The Senate decides to create provinces, named “Stratas” each governed by a “Strator”.
Astora sees that a military campaign against the League of Ketron or the Oath of Bao would be extremely difficult and lead to little gains as such it attempts to sway city states on each side with promises of special treatment, to no avail.
300 - 200 B.C.
Due to rising tensions between Evrat and Merok, a militaristic city state, the League of Ketron collapses, and two new leagues appear, the League of Evrat and the League of Merok. They immediately declare war on each other in 311 B.C.
The League of Merok gets military and economic support from Astora, as the Astorans hope they might join the Republic willingly afterwise, as a new Strata.
In the beginning, Evrat and its allies score several victories however Astoran economic and military support eventually turns the tide of the war in favor of the Merok leading to a Merokian Victory in 333 B.C.
Shortly after the war Merok attempts to sever ties with Astora, which in response threatens to invade if they do not accept integration. Weakened after 22 years of war, the League of Merok has no other choice than accept.
200 - 100 B.C.

The Strators manage to secure more and more power, becoming more akin to local lords than administrators. A political rivalry begins between them and the Senate, leading to an era of political instability, with the life expectancy of the Strators and Senators decreasing rapidly due to widespread assassinations and infighting.
100 - 0 B.C.
The Senate attempts to limit the Strator’s power by electing a Dictator, a general named Delcadius Melletor, and giving him every power required to lead the Republic in 31 B.C. This leads to moderate success, until 14 B.C. when he is assassinated. The Strator’s immediately begin declaring independence from Astora and civil war ensues.
After Collapse Calendar Begins

0-100 A.C.
The Republic officially collapses. From this, 7 independent nations appear, all pretending to be the actual Astoran Republic. Political instability is higher than ever, with Strators being assassinated often and with seccessionist movements being commonplace.
Over time each “Astorian Republic” abandons their claim and renames themselves : the Kingdom of Valois, the Grand Duchy of Laconia, the Kingdom of Istriya, the Reich of Oschwartz, the Kingdom of Venland, the Principality of Krazowitz, and finally, the Dictat of Astora itself, reduced only to the Astoran peninsula.
Each monarch manages to get the rebellious local governors and generals to swear fealty to them, although they keep their independence. This is considered the start of the feudal system.
Ketron gets its independence by default and becomes an oligarchy, with its capital being Merok.
100 - 200 A.C.
Era of political stabilization, each new kingdom is busy trying to stabilize its internal politics, and have all their local lords swear fealty to them.
The feudal system works on a simple principle : the lord keeps his independence and he gets protection from the king, but he owes him allegiance and must obey him.
200 - 300 A.C.
A new religion appears, preached by the prophet Teod. He speaks of a single god, Ega, and preaches compassion, forgiveness, protection of the weak, altruism and sharing with the poor. He writes his ideas in a collection of texts which over time becomes known as the Book of Promises. Him and his followers are called the “Orat”, and his religion, “Oratism”, as they go from city to city, delivering speeches on the main square to try and convince people.
Oratism becomes popular really quickly due to most people’s disillusion with the old gods, who did not intervened in the last difficult centuries, when they were needed.
300 - 400 A.C.
Era of wars between each kingdoms. Losses and gains in territory are generally minor. Lots of military innovations in weaponry, armor, siege weapons, tactics, cavalry, etc…
The lords become more powerful, and the peasants poorer. The serf system appears.
The oratic religion spreads, and gets adopted by all the powerful lords, with their vassals usually following.
400 - 500 A.C.
Oratism becomes the mainstream religion on Ciros, and the official religion in all of the continents kingdoms. The kings manage to reduce their vassal’s power and reinforce their own political position. This century marks the start of the great wars between kingdoms.
The Ketronian Council is formed in Merok, in order to better rule Ketron. One representative of each city sieges, and together they vote on the issues to settle.
500 - 600 A.C.
Known as the century of war. Kingdoms try to conquer each other in order to reform the Astoran Republic, to no avail.
600 - 700 A.C.
End of feudalism, with the final steps taken by the monarchs to cement their authority as absolute.
The Temple of the Word is founded in Astora, as a place for followers of oratism to understand the Book of Promises better. Priests, named “Orators” are sent to all towns across Ciros in order to better teach people about oratism. High Orators gather in the Temple itself in order to interpret to the Book, and elect a First Orator as a leader for all believers of the faith.
Oratism starts spreading to Ketron with difficulties
700 - 800 A.C.
The first major alliances on Ciros form through royal marriages.
The Temple’s authority begins to expand across Ketron, despite the Ketronian Governements refusal to acknowledge it.
The Hyaoxian city states decide to forbid entrance to foreigners, and add that clause to the Oath of Bao. It is then decided to turn it into the Council of Bao, which has the responsibility to modify the Oath if needs be, slowly making it the de facto government of Hyaoxi as the century goes on.
The First Orator Marcus Cassius becomes the Dictator of Astora through political manipulation, turning the Dictat of Astora into the Holy Kingdom of Astora and making the position of First Orator similar to the position of a king
800 - 900 A.C.
The War of the Kings begins. The King of Venland dies without any clear heir, leaving two possibilities. The Vanswick House, supported by Krazowitz, Oschwartz, and Istriya, versus the Orbor House, supported by Valois and Laconia, with Astora sitting the war out.
It’s a difficult war which ends with an entire different house, the Lesceiter House, which exploits the complex alliances between noble houses, and the difficult political times, to obtain the throne in 872
Okros, an orator in Ketron, decides to try and reform the Book of Promises and adapt it to ketronian society. He proposes a more liberal interpretation of the book, and introduces the idea that everyone should think on it and interpret it on his own way, and then share these ideas with other followers, so that they may debate on it and further their collective interpretation of it. Okros and his followers are quickly nicknamed the “cogistos” or the “cogist” movement, and this new way to teach the Book of Promises becomes quite popular in Ketron. The Temple sees that offshoot as a possible form of heresy, but doesn’t act on it yet.
900 - 1000 A.C.
The Cogist movement spreads to Ciros. The First Orator at the time, Pius Olanius, declares it heretical, and demands that all oratic nations hunt down any cogist. Persecution begins all over Ciros, and culminate in 952 when the Temple orders war against Ketron.
This becomes known as the Pious March. It ends in 967, without any real gains. A difficult atmosphere reigns from then on between cogists and oratics.
1000 - 1100 A.C.
The first explorers leave towards Perinia, and Jyaoki, bringing stories sparking the people’s imagination. Some manage to get access to hyaoxian cities and bring back the idea of alchemy, and with it, ideas of manipulating nature and experimenting. This kickstarts the idea of empiricism and the beginnings of the scientific method.
In 1033 a ketronian thinker, Aléos, reveals his theory of movement and how the referential is of importance. He also advances the idea of heliocentrism, that the sun is the center of the universe, and not Patria.
The Temple tries to control all these new thinkers in order to keep it compatible with the Book of Promises. It is however largely a failure, as the kingdoms are more interested in the new military possibilities rather than keeping a stable social order. The Temple’s influence begins to wane.
The first university opens in Laconia in 1051, most other kingdoms end up opening their own.
1100 - 1200 A.C.
Valois, Laconia, Venland and Istriyab begin colonizing Jyaoki and Perinia, founding colonies that over time become quite profitable due to the export of natural resources found there towards the mainland. Relations with the local populations prove difficult, but the technological and military superiority of the Cirosian power's proves enough to ensure their dominance in the region.
In 1148, Hunter Daremg invents and popularises the printing press.
1200 - 1300 A.C.
Oschwartz and Valois go to war over the region of Lenrent from 1223 to 1227, ending up on valoisian victory. The war is however too taxing, and to avoid economic ruin, Valois sells its colonies on the Perinian coast to Venland, which ends up with total control over Perinia, unifies the settlements, and creates the colony of Perinia, with New Port as its colonial capital
1300 - 1400 A.C.
Perinia’s economic development progresses rapidly, and it quickly becomes an indispensable part of Venland’s economy.
in 1320, a coalition of all Cirosian powers threatens the Council of Bao with war if they don’t open the cities. With the disparity in power Hyaoxi is forced to open up. The Cirosian powers carve up spheres of influence.
Exploration starts on the interior of Jyaoki, yielding little results, and contact is made with the island kingdoms of Gamiha, which are extremely impressed with the cirosian ships and weapons.
The formula to create gunpowder is perfected, and the first guns start appearing in battles.
1400 - 1500 A.C.
The age of guns and canons starts, making traditional warfare obsolete in the course of a century.
The first banks and trading corporations appear.
An intermediate social class between the serfs and the nobles appears, living in the cities, or “bourg” in valoisian, they are named “bourgeoisie”. These are often traders, or very successful artisans.
The first manufactures are set up.
1500 - 1600 A.C.

Known as the age of exploration, adventurers travel all the continents. The Oradon pyramids are rediscovered in the deep forests of Perinia, and archeologists start uncovering Patria’s past.
With this, the Astoran Republic and its political system are rediscovered. These ideas find a large public in Perinia, and “republicans” there start advocating for independence from Venland
1600 - 1700 A.C.
The industrial revolution begins, with the advent of steam power and steam machines. A new way to make goods appears.
Cirosian powers start colonizing Gamiha, although the distance makes efforts difficult.
In 1682 Valois declares war on Venland over commercial routes. Perinia uses that war to declare its independance, and declare itself a Republic, the first to exist in more than 1500 years. Perinia uses its economic power to support the valoisian war effort, and sends volunteers. At the same time, they fight off the Venlish garrisons there and sink the Venlish ships patrolling the Perinian coast. Valois wins the war in 1687
The scientific method is solidified and discoverers and inventors transition from nobles, to educated “bourgeois” who dedicated their lives to one discipline.
Nicolas Edison in 1690 develops the first electrical network for New Port.
1700 A.C. - 1800 A.C.
The Cirosian kingdoms tighten their grip over Hyaoxi. A sentiment of hate and resentment develops against Ciros.
Industrialization accelerates, with more and more factories opening, and more and more items being produced this way.
The idea of capitalism develops, and as a reaction, social progressivism with the release of the book “A Treaty of Social Progress” by Leonad Marzow, a krazowitzan.
1800 - 1900 A.C.
In 1818, the first telephone lines are installed.
In may of 1831, the heir to the Kingdom of Istriya, Martin XIV is assassinated by Istriyan Republicans wanting to end the monarchy. Valois, Astora, Laconia and Istriya support his half - brother, Felipe de Gontès, while Oschwartz, Krazowitz and Venland support his cousin, Juan de Portaqis.
Threats of closing trade routes, expelling foreign citizens, closing borders, etc… are exchanged.
The issue is of high importance, as de Gontès has a claim on territories in Venland and Oschwartz, while de Portaqis has claims on many Astoran and Laconian territories.
Valois, Astora, Laconia and Istriya form The Quadruple Alliance, while Oschwartz, Krazowitz and Venland form The League of Cirros. Both of these leagues threaten each other with invasions to protect their own territories, and every kingdom starts mobilizing its army
On the 20th of june 1831, Oschwartz invades Astoran territories as a move of intimidation, hoping The Quadruple Alliance would fall back.
On the 28th of june 1831 The Quadruple Alliance formally declares war on Oschwartz and begins marching its armies into Oschwartz.
On the 2nd of july 1831, The League of Cirros formally declares war on The Quadruple Alliance in order to defend Oschwartz, and starts moving its troops.
The first battles begin on the 13th of august 1831 on Valoisian, Oschwartzian, and astoran territories. It is the most violent conflict in the history of Patria, with brutal trench warfare, more and more powerful artillery razing entire areas, and deadly chemical weapons being released on military and civilian targets.

In 1851, Marsten mk 7 combat gas is released by Valois on the Lesrent region to prevent Oschwartz from taking it, completely contaminating the region and rendering it unsuitable for life.
In 1852, The Quadruple Alliance wins with the surrender of Oschwartz, Venland and Krazowitz. Ciros is in ruins, its economy is virtually non existent, and it has lost 21% of its total population.
Being unable to maintain power, the Cirosian colonies are de facto independent, at least until the mainland recovers.
Hyaoxi restores the Council of Bao and closes its borders again.
Perinia emerges as the only real winner of the war, having provided economic aid to The Quadruple Alliance in the form of food, guns, drugs, etc…. The Perinian senate sees the Cirosian tragedy as an opportunity to expand its republican model.
Albert Hartrow, a Perinian politician devises the Hartrow Doctrine in 1856 which states Perinia will provide economic and technological aid to Cirosian nations to help them rebuild, if they agree to adopt a Republican government, and to make important political reforms to provide more equality to its citizens.
Furthermore, they would have to adhere to an international organization, the Council of Nations, which would be charged with resolving international conflict to avoid another bloodshed such as this, and to ensure its members follow the People’s Right Charter, a charter which ensures each individual’s right. This charter is written by four Perinians, Hartrow, Wenson, Vartiz and Agos, and immediatly voted in the Perinian senate.
Hartrow is convinced that this way, Perinia may be able to assert economic, cultural and political dominance over the world.
Istriya is the first nation to accept Perinia’s offer in 1859, and becomes the Republic of Istriya.
In Valois, the social atmosphere is difficult : the people want reforms, and protest in the streets, but they are only met by brutal repression from the police. The nation slowly descends into quasi - civil war.
The Valoisian king, Fernand IV, refuses the conditions put on Perinian aid. The Perinian government then decides to support the revolutionaries through military council, logistics, and weapons delivery. The revolutionaries carry out more and more ambitious sabotage and propaganda operations, until the police and the army declare that they do not support the king anymore, prompting a quick but brutal revolt in which the royal family is captured and executed on the 2nd of may 1862.
The revolutionary regime begins with purges against the noble families, which are trying to flee the country towards the neighbouring Venland Kingdom. The “regime of terror” as it is called, lasts from 1862 to 1865 when it collapses due to the withdrawal of Perinian support. A new, more moderate, republican regime begins, which accepts the Perinian conditions and joins the Council of Nations as the Republic of Valois in 1868
The Reich of Oschwartz agrees to the conditions in 1870, when Kaiser Arthur II fears a revolution similar to the one in Valois might happen due to unrest growing in the capital. The Republic of Oschwartz joins the Council of Nations in 1871
In 1872 Evenheim publishes his theory of relativity
The Principality of Krazowitz follows in 1874 as they were very dependant on their former oschwartzian monarchist ally.
Venland, and Laconia refuse, due to a strong pro-monarchy sentiment there, and the accounts of purge and murder from valoisian noble who fled there. Astora refuses as they want to keep the First Orator as head of state and maintain their theocracy. Perinia starts a trading embargo on Venland, Laconia and Astora as an answer to their refusal denouncing them for being “selfish and authoritarian states, caring for the needs of the few over those of the many”.
Perinian efforts then turn to Ketron, it being the only nation still willing to trade with the last three monarchies. Ketron has accumulated an important technological and economic lag compared to Ciros : where the cirosian powers had the influx of wealth from their colonies, Ketron had to contend with poor natural resources and a weak military. They had accepted cirosian domination in order to not be completely left in the dust. The negotiations take a long time, and in the end, they accept the reforms and join the Council of Nations with sustained technological aid, and 20 year period where no foreign companies would be allowed to develop on Ketron, so that their own can develop. They join as the Republic of Ketron in 1882, and expel Venlish, Astoran and Laconian companies at the same time.
Following this event, the Laconian economy collapses, as it was heavily based on exportations and their main market just closed its doors. They try negotiating with Perinia so that they may keep their Grand Duke. Perinia poses the conditions that he may hold no power, and lets the negotiations drag on in order to force their hand. In 1889, with the looming presence of a grave economic crisis and a possible revolt, Laconia is forced to accept and joins the Council of Nations as the Constitutional Duchy of Laconia.

Astora tries to start negociations, with the express intent of keeping oratism as a state religion, which Perinia refuses. The Perinian government considers the joining of Venland and Astora to only be a question of time, and turns its attention to Jyaoki and the old cirosian colonies there. Negociations are quite short as they have been left to their own devices for almost 40 years and are glad to see some aid coming their way. They all join as one bloc in 1899
1900 - 2000 A.C
The Gamihan islands and Drengen agree to join the Council the Nations. Little changes are needed politically, and the main effort to produce is more to structure authority around a stable political entity. They both stay “in negotiations” for 10 years, while in reality, Perinia is helping them both to shape their governments into Republics. They both join in 1912
In 1913 Astora finally gives in to Perinian demands and accepts to join the Council of Nations as the Republic of Astora
In 1921, new negotiations happen at the Council to create a unique market, with no borders, and free movement of people, goods and capitals. This proposal is finalized and enters in effect in 1924 as the Patrian Economic Cooperation Area. This kickstarts globalization in a big way, with its lot of problems such a delocalizations.
Venland is now nicknamed the Hermit Kingdom due to its refusal to engage with the rest of the world and its obstination with keeping the monarchy in place.
Hyaoxi has difficulty with maintaining its isolation and the Council of Bao. Many young people leave the confederation for council nations in hopes of finding a better life there.
In 1927, the first prototypes of nuclear reactor are switched on. This is due to new scientific studies showing that petrol and coal based power plants are damaging the environment at alarming rates.
In 1931, New Port Nuclear Reactor is put online as a marketing stunt. It is highly effective, and the technology is shared with all council nations, with Perinian companies developing reactors all over the planet. Thanks to large uranium deposits in Jyaoki, the technology is considered as “the energy of the future”
In 1948, the first computers appear.
In 1960 the “computers explosion” happens with computer prices plummeting and their power reaching new heights : many tasks start being replaced with computers.
In 1964, the Gon Qi city state leaves the Council of Bao and breaks the Oath of Bao, and joins the Council of Nations. By grace of a domino effect all hyaoxian city states end up joining, Bao being the last one in 1978
In 1967 the first rockets escape Patria, with the first satellite in 1971 and the first man on the moon in 1977.
In 1991, Queen Marjory I of Venland starts fearing for a popular uprising. Most Venlish people now only feel resentment towards the nobility, and acts of terrorism against high borns are more and more commonplace. Repression doesn’t seem to work, and neither does counter revolutionary forces. The queen offers to accept Perinian conditions for entry in the Council of Nations if they can get the same exemption as Laconia did, and become a constitutional monarchy. Perinia accepts, and the Kingdom of Venland becomes the last nation to join the Council of Nations, which now gathers every nation on Patria.

In 2002, the internet becomes a public and open market, and starts developing remarkably fast
In 2012, in a move to try and stop the problems posed by globalization, Perinia tries to push through the council the idea of an International Legislative Tribunal, through which a nation could sue over differences in laws, and force the other to adopt its own. The idea is extremely unpopular, but a venlish politician, Henry Oxworth uses the occasion to counter offer the idea of a Patrian Legislative Assembly, a legislative body through which laws could be passed and be applied in all nations. The idea is controversial at best, but thanks to Oxworth’s political experiences with manipulating and making alliances, it ends up passing with only Perinia, Valois, Istriya and Oschwartz voting against it.
In 2034 with the explosion of the electronic and high technologies market, more and more rare earth elements are needed. They are proving hard to find on Patria, but the idea of exploiting those present in the solar system starts spreading. Such an undertaking would be too much for one nation’s space agency, but by making one, international agency, it would be doable. The PLA passes the law in 2035, and in 2038, the Patrian Space Agency opens its doors. It completes its first mission in 2041 with sending an exploratory drone in the solar system, in order to identify the best rare earth asteroids.
In 2058 the Nuclear Waste Scandal happens. Gamihan journalist, Mauna O’kahui, reveals to the world that for the last 70 years, Perinia has been illegally dumping its nuclear waste in the Ohama archipelagos in the Gamihan islands. This allows them to keep pushing for nuclear power in Perinia by hiding its problems from the world. The Ohaman islands are now completely contaminated, and unsuitable for life. The radioactivity has seeped into the ground and has started to spread to neighbouring ecosystem through sea currents.
This is a shock for the rest of the world, the Patrian Energy Agency is created in order to regulate industry pollution, regulate nuclear technologies, and push alternative ways to produce power. Its first act is to create the Ohama Quarantine Area, and start decontamination efforts, albeit with very little success
This event causes a drop in confidence regarding nuclear technologies, and starts a rush towards renewable energies, which progressively replace nuclear reactor over the next two centuries on Patria.
In 2063 an anti-council terrorist group emerges in Jyaoki, and takes control of the Greater Plateau area. An international military coalition is formed in response, and as military cooperation becomes more and more necessary, council nations start merging their command center, creating the International Command Center. In 2069 Goaï, the last terrorist bastion, is taken, ending the threat. The Council votes on integrating military command in its prerogatives, creating the Patrian High Command.

In 2073, exploitation of space resources begins. It becomes quickly clear that dedicated orbital facilities are needed to maximize exploitation, and work begins on the Patrian Orbital Station in 2076, with it being finished in 2086

In 2077, a pro-unification political block appears in the Patrian Legislative Assembly. The idea of a political unification existed before, but it is the first time that a political formation is formed around it. The debate is quite difficult, with most people against fearing that the people might lose their say over their own destiny, and most people in favour arguing that it is merely a question of symbol, as legislative, military, energy, and space administration are already out of the hands nations. The Council starts an official debate over the question in 2078, which lasts 7 months. In 2079, the vote happens, the Republic of Patria is formed. The Patria Legislative Assembly becomes the Patrian Senate, and the position of Chancellor is created, serving as head of state with Lucius Alexandr being elected the Republic’s first ever Chancellor.
2100 - 2200 A.C.
In 2117, Galéno de Marzi publishes his theory on the galaxy’s gravitational structure, and its relation with star systems, also called the Hyperlane Theory.
In 2131, the first permanent resource extraction space station opens.
In 2142, Pavel Zorlowski publishes its theory on space folding engines, and how Faster Than Light travel could realistically work.
In 2149, space travel becomes common place with dozens of companies competing for contracts to establish mining bases across the Solar System.
In 2168, a Cargo Frigate owned by the Perinian Space Corporation is hijacked and crashes into the Patrian Orbital Station killing all on board the Frigate and damaging the station beyond repair. This act of terrorism sends shock waves throughout Patria as to how defenseless the government was to deal with such a threat.
2169, due to the loss of the Patrian Orbital Station, Patria's Parliament's authorizes the construction of the The Patrian Republic's Space Command Center near Patria's star Patrium as well as the official creation of the P.R.S.D.F. also known as the Patrian Republic Solar Defense Force which was armed with thirty Janao Fighters which although no larger than a aerial fighter was capable of quickly patrolling the Solar System and if needed utilizing its mass drivers to disable any hostile threats.

In 2183, the first Schmitthausler - Morin Engine prototype is unveiled, also called the Hyperlane Engine. Its first test in 2184 is a resounding success
In 2189, several space probes utilizing the Morin Engine begin construction and are sent into neighboring solar systems.
In 2192, The senate votes on Project Voidwatcher : Patria Space Agency will build 5 FTL capable spaceships : a construction ship, an exploration ship, and 3 military ships for defensive measures, “should the stars be less welcoming than anticipated”.
in 2199, Project Voidwatcher is completed with the newly ships preparing for the first manned hyperlane jumps into foreign systems in the year 2200.
