This broadcast will be split into three sections announcing the results for the Chancellorship, Vice Chancellorship and Parliamentary elections as the Republican Electoral Commission feeds us the details.
For our first section we will be going over the election for Chancellorship in the 2220 Election.
Chancellorship Election of 2220
The Chancellorship Election of 2220 has several familiar faces such as current incumbent Chancellor Zane Griffin, Aditya Shastri and Epos Gra as well as Oliver Longwood of the U.S.D.
Election polling is as always erratic however polling has been putting Zane Griffin ahead of his possible rival by high single digits to small double digits.
The Broadcast continues for several hours as they await for votes to be counted until finally the Network can announce the victor confidently.
This just in.... with 99.9% of the Republic's votes tallied we can say what we have been saying for the past few hours... that without a doubt Chancellor Zane Griffin of the United Patrian Front will be serving a third term as Chancellor of the Patrian Republic.
As you can clearly see Chancellor Zane Griffin has successfully won yet another term as Chancellor of the Patrian Republic after successfully receiving 49.9% of the Electoral Vote with Oliver Longwood receiving 27.2% of the Electoral vote, Aditya Shastri receiving 16.6% of the electoral vote and Epos Gra receiving 7.6% of the Electoral Vote.
Vice Chancellorship Election of 2220
The Vice Chancellorship Elections of 2220 have been highly contested with a record of 6 candidates running for the prestigious office and are without a doubt going to lead to an highly split Electorate.
The Broadcast continues for several hours as they await for votes to be counted until finally the Network can announce the victor confidently.
We can now confirm with confidence that Maria Giordano has successfully been re-elected Vice Chancellor of the Patrian Republic after successfully beating David Kaiwi who gained 28.3% of the Electoral Vote a mere 5% less than Maria. In third place Jason Pulsifer gained 15.2% of the Electoral vote with the rest of the candidates gaining 23% of the Electoral vote combined.
Parliamentary Elections of 2220
As you can clearly see there have been several winners in this election with the U.P.F. managing to maintain their hold over parliament but at the cost of losing 5% of their seats within parliament. The Resurgence League has made an absolutely startling electoral victory gaining 7.1% of the Electoral Vote this election the largest electoral victory in the history of the party.
This election also has seen the rise of several small political parties such as the S.P.P. which managed to secure 4% of the electoral vote, U.R.F. holding onto its small hold over parliament, F.I.P. gaining 3% of the electoral vote, E.R.P.P. gaining 2% of the electoral vote and Z.I. gaining 1%.
All in all these new political parties successfully gained 13% of the electoral vote which would very well explain how the U.S.D., U.P.F. W.MD. E.P.P. P.C.P. all losing seats this election largely to these newly formed parties.
T.O.M. has successfully maintained their 35 political seats handily winning their electoral regions, meanwhile the P.P.P. gained an additional 1% of seats within parliament.

This will take a long time but will also secure resources and allow the republic to keep a watchful eye on the private corporations. There are also many wonders which our scientists wish to study in these areas but are unable to due to there not being an outpost in the area. This should be done over a 15 year long time span.

The Reforming Fleet Act

As our territory continues to expand it is clear that we have stretched our fleet to the limits. To remedy this it is time to reform the fleet that is ready to defend the republic and citizens for the future. Currently our fleet is reacting to problems it should already be prepared for. Therefore we propose the most ambitious Act in the history of our planet. The reforming Fleet act will take place over a period of the next 30 years a truly enormous effort. This Act is meant to be a rough guideline for only the fleet so that we can work for something every year with an ultimate goal in mind.
1. During the next 10 years the fleet should be reformed into 3 fleets. Our territory is so large now that we will need three fleets just to patrol our territory. The ship types used will be up for the admirals.
2. The 1st Fleet shall be renamed the 1st Home Fleet it job will be to guard the internal borders of our republic and assist the 2nd and 3rd fleets. The 1st fleet will be the hammer and will be the most powerful fleet. Due to its center position it will be able to assist both fleets.
3. The 2nd fleet shall be reformed into the 2nd Northern Fleet it main job will be to patrol the northern regions for pirates and if the republic is attacked by an outside enemy its job is to delay the enemy until the 1st Home Fleet arrives.
4. The 3rd fleet shall be made called the 3rd Southern Fleet. It's main duty mirrors the 2nd Northern Fleet with the exception that it is in the south.
1. For the next 20 years it is important that we continue to build up the fleet according to the needs of the republic. An effort should be made for a new class of ship that it able to defend the republic instead of patrolling it. If available a new destroyer class should be made and a new fleet created.
2.The 4th fleet shall be created called the 4th Grand Fleet. It will be the main offensive and defensive fleet replacing the 1st home fleets job.
3.The 4th Grand Fleet will be made up from the best ships, officers and crew.
4.The 1st Home Fleets main job now will be to defend the core system of our republic and be the last line of defense.
1.Over the next 30 years our infrastructure in space will need to be fixed. To help our fleets three stations will be built that will supply the fleets and keep costs down.
2.Three stations will be built each will have crew quarters to allow the fleet to be stationed on a permanent basis.
3.One of these stations will be the new shipyards for the whole republic. While Patria station has served us well it needs to be a place of commerce and trade not military build up.
The new station chosen will have the grand fleet protecting it in peacetime.
This act is extremely important however it is a baseline to follow other bills and acts will change how our military looks after 30 years.

The Historical Army Units Bill

We have a long history on our planet and with that we have many old and famous military units that have been disbanded there heroic deeds being forgotten there traditions being lost to time. It is time to revive these units being them back into the fold so they can now defend the republic. With so much history behind these units they will have to live up to the reputation and thus it may give them more to fight for. These units will be made up from the best we can offer with many in there ranks being veterans. The proposed units being.
1. The Astoran Legions where one of the best units the republic ever seen. These units were formed during the First Astoran Republic the precursor to our current republic. It is time we honour them and reform these units ready for the modern era. Reviving a legion will take a very long time and thus a significant amount of time will be required we recommended 20 years.
In game effects to build 10 assault units and name them the transport fleet Astoran Legion.
Each individual unit will be named from Legion I to Legion X Numbering: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X.
The Valoisian Chevaliers where some of the best cavalry our planet had ever seen. With horse and man fully armoured the Valoisian where the best cavalry during their time and where feared throughout the continent Cirros. After the collapse of the first republic these units became the most reliable soldiers. This unit will be formed from the people of Cirros into armored units.
This will take a long time as well and is recommended that it takes place over the next 20 years.

While the great war was a devastating time we also need to remember the advances in technology and the downfall of the monarch to give way to democracy. One of the most elite units during this time was the Osterreich Shocktruppen. It is time we reform this unit immediately and make them join our military.
Make 1 assault army and name it the 1st Osterreich Shocktruppen.
Krazowitzan Hussards are one of the famed units that deserve to be remembered. Make 1 assault army and name it the Krazowitzan Hussards.
Hyaoxian Fire breathers are another famous unit not from Cirros and needs to be represented. Make 1 assault army and name it the Hyaoxian Fire Breathers.

The reasons stated on why this bill needed to be approved are also wrong. Having a title does not give you more authority over any citizen of the republic. The title is just that a title like any other it hurts no one. The nobility have not been in power 229 years saying it gives power is a lie.
Say that you must earn something and not be born into something is a hypocritical stance how many people have inherited homes, money, possessions and land from their parents if you think this is ok then you must also think that this bill is unjust.
This is part of our heritage everyone's heritage nobles titles are historic and part of our culture. However the republic is getting rid of noble titles due to what nobles done in the past. Those past actions where more than 229 years ago do we now live in a society where the sins of the great great great grandfather are now the sins of the great great great grandson. If this is the case now in our republic it will lead to the complete collapse in society.

The 2nd Patrian Social Care Act

The first Social Care Act is now over 20 years old, and has been through one cycle of amendments. It is high time to create act that will both combine the First Social Care Act, its Amendment and a new series of provisions. This new act will supersede any previous provisions or acts.
(Provisions 1-7 are a combination of the Provisions from “The Patrian Social Care Act” and “Amendment to the Patrian Social Care Act”)
1.The creation of the Patrian Welfare Agency (PWA), the leader officers of which will be appointed by a majority of Parliament This agency is tasked with the maintenance and service of any current or future programs decided for social welfare.
2.The creation of a Republic-backed unemployment pension, to be set equal to 85% of the minimum wage.
3.The creation of a Republic-backed retired unemployment pension, where anyone over the age of 65 will be allowed to retire with the funds being taken out of a portion of the taxes the retiree has paid to the government when employed+Plus a base to be set by the PWA. This can be in addition to private or corporate pension systems
4.The creation of a Republic-backed Child-Care, where any child under the age of mandatory schooling can be enrolled while their parents are at work.
5. The creation of a Republic backed Healthcare insurance, to be provided as an alternative to any corporate or private healthcare insurance. This insurance will cover all medical procedures costing under 200 RPD up to 85% and all costing over 200 RPD 100%
6.The creation of a Republican Healthcare institution to cover up the effects of on workplace injuries or any injuries given to the individual in service to the Patrian nation.
7.The creation of a new set of industry parks, aimed at the employment of the unemployed workers in Patria. These factories will produce goods aimed at consumers, to be sold at reduced costs. The Factories will be built by the Republic but can be sold to private investors and later subsidised up 50% of the total maintenance cost. These new industry parks can be constructed by the government until a certain balance of consumer goods is achieved
(Provisions 8-10 are a series of new provisions regarding Social Welfare)
8.Every person who pays an income tax are mandated to receive at least 20 days of paid days off, although any corporation may elect to give more.
9.Every person who pays an income tax are mandated to receive at least 4 weeks of Parental Leave when a new child is born. If a married couple are employed at the same organization, each are entitled to 4 weeks of leave. Any corporation may extend parental leave to any situation if they see fit, for example Adoption,Child illness or Death in the Family.
10.A new Republic-backed minimum wage is to be created, set at 15 PRD per hour. (Provisions 11-14 are a series of provisions regarding the prevention of the denial of these rights)
11.The preceding provisions can not be denied to a group of people on any grounds, whether it be class, race, wealth, religion etc. The act Applies to all areas of the workforce, whether it be Farmers, Laborers, Craftsmen, Scientists so long as they are a citizen of the Republic
12.The preceding provisions can not be denied to anyone living on the colonies, so long as they are citizens of the Republic
13. The preceding provisions can not be denied to any Alien Race, so long as the legally reside within the borders of the Republic.
14. No citizen of the Republic may be barred from creating or joining a Labour Union, unless the Union actively attempts violently overthrow the Republic.
15.The preceding provisions apply to Unions, unless the collective bargaining agreements set standards higher than the ones outlined in the act.

The Communal Building Safety Improvement Bill

In order to prevent another tragedy, such as the fires of 2218, occurring again, we must ensure that all buildings that span over 3 stories and are used primarily as rented or leased accommodation (more than 20% of the rooms are rented or owned by a persons different to the owner of the buildings) are appropriately fire proofed in accordance with the following criteria :

2) All rooms should contain sprinklers that have the power to douse any fire less than 4x4m in less than 5 seconds
3) There must be a fire extinguisher within 10m of the apartment entrance

There will be a region-by-region rollout of this law, with the order to be decided based on lowest population to highest, to give the most affected regions more time to perform prep work. Each region will be given two years to complete its assessment of the buildings affected by the criteria mentioned in section
1. The process will work as follows:

1) The buildings identified as possessing the criteria in section 1 will need to be contacted by local government informing them of their obligations to the new standards.
2) The affected landowners will then be noted for a 50% tax break for a tax year, to act as a government subsidy for the expensive renovation work that they may need to perform. For those who already meet the requirements, this would be a reward for performing expensive safety work without legislation.
3) The government will then need to set deadlines for each landowner within the 2 year time frame in section 3, and assess their buildings after their deadline has been met to ensure it meets the new safety requirements.

Failure to meet these requirements can be punishable by unlimited fine, revocation of "Right to Rent" license, preventing unsafe apartments being rented, or in the case or repeat or serious offenders, up to 5 years jail time and governmental seizure of the dangerous building.

To help local governmental bodies carry out this huge task, there will be a spending package delivered to local bodies for use in hiring additional manpower to carry out the above tasks. This spending package will be decided by Parliament.

The Gang Crackdown and Police Force Empowerment Bill

We cannot ignore the root cause of the tragic fires that led to so many innocent bystanders dead or injured, and that is gang warfare. Given the huge damage and loss of life that they are capable of causing, they are a dangerous element of society that must be rooted out. This bill aims to a) empower law enforcement agencies and b) ensure gang members can be sufficiently reformed to become productive members of society.
1.1 All police will now be trained and equipped to carry a sidearm when operating in areas with strong gang presence, such as inner cities, to ensure that they can protect themselves and protect bystanders from gang members who regularly carry guns and will not hesitate to use them. Officers will be regimented to semi-annual (every 6 months) training sessions after their initial training to ensure that their firearms skills are at an acceptable level.
1.2 Officers may use their weapon when they feel a life is endangered by a criminal or if a criminal cannot be stopped by any other measures.
1.3 Officers will now wear small dash-cams as part of their uniform when carrying a firearm to ensure they can be held accountable if they misuse their weapons. Whenever an officer discharges their weapon and injures or kills a criminal, they will be subject to an investigation to ensure it was an appropriate use of force for the situation.
1.4 There will be a spending package for the distribution of weapons and training, value will be decided by Parliament
2.1 Being a member of a criminal gang is now a punishable offense by minimum 3 years in prison
2.2 When a criminal is incarcerated as part of a gang, there should be special effort made to place them in a prison where there is a low concentration of that gang, or any other gang, in an attempt to disperse gangs across the republic to prevent strong gang culture prevailing in prisons
2.3 When in prison, gang members should be subject to extreme educational upskilling in certain areas where demand for labour is strong. This should result in incarcerated persons gaining a skillset that allows them to achieve employment after incarceration.
2.4 There will be a funding package to be used for specifically increasing education efforts in prisons, value of [insert value here]
2.5 Any gang member found guilty of repeated offenses after multiple incarcerations should be subject to escalating punishment, ending with life imprisonment

The Reforming Fleet Act

As our territory continues to expand it is clear that we have stretched our fleet to the limits. To remedy this it is time to reform the fleet that is ready to defend the republic and citizens for the future. Currently our fleet is reacting to problems it should already be prepared for. Therefore we propose the most ambitious Act in the history of our planet. The reforming Fleet act will take place over a period of the next 30 years a truly enormous effort. This Act is meant to be a rough guideline for only the fleet so that we can work for something every year with an ultimate goal in mind.
1. During the next 10 years the fleet should be reformed into 3 fleets. Our territory is so large now that we will need three fleets just to patrol our territory. The ship types used will be up for the admirals.
2. The 1st Fleet shall be renamed the 1st Home Fleet it job will be to guard the internal borders of our republic and assist the 2nd and 3rd fleets. The 1st fleet will be the hammer and will be the most powerful fleet. Due to its center position it will be able to assist both fleets.
3. The 2nd fleet shall be reformed into the 2nd Northern Fleet it main job will be to patrol the northern regions for pirates and if the republic is attacked by an outside enemy its job is to delay the enemy until the 1st Home Fleet arrives.
4. The 3rd fleet shall be made called the 3rd Southern Fleet. It's main duty mirrors the 2nd Northern Fleet with the exception that it is in the south.
1. For the next 20 years it is important that we continue to build up the fleet according to the needs of the republic. An effort should be made for a new class of ship that it able to defend the republic instead of patrolling it. If available a new destroyer class should be made and a new fleet created.
2.The 4th fleet shall be created called the 4th Grand Fleet. It will be the main offensive and defensive fleet replacing the 1st home fleets job.
3.The 4th Grand Fleet will be made up from the best ships, officers and crew.
4.The 1st Home Fleets main job now will be to defend the core system of our republic and be the last line of defense.
1.Over the next 30 years our infrastructure in space will need to be fixed. To help our fleets three stations will be built that will supply the fleets and keep costs down.
2.Three stations will be built each will have crew quarters to allow the fleet to be stationed on a permanent basis.
3.One of these stations will be the new shipyards for the whole republic. While Patria station has served us well it needs to be a place of commerce and trade not military build up.
The new station chosen will have the grand fleet protecting it in peacetime.
This act is extremely important however it is a baseline to follow other bills and acts will change how our military looks after 30 years.

We have a long history on our planet and with that we have many old and famous military units that have been disbanded there heroic deeds being forgotten there traditions being lost to time. It is time to revive these units being them back into the fold so they can now defend the republic. With so much history behind these units they will have to live up to the reputation and thus it may give them more to fight for. These units will be made up from the best we can offer with many in there ranks being veterans. The proposed units being.
1. The Astoran Legions where one of the best units the republic ever seen. These units were formed during the First Astoran Republic the precursor to our current republic. It is time we honour them and reform these units ready for the modern era. Reviving a legion will take a very long time and thus a significant amount of time will be required we recommended 20 years.

Each individual unit will be named from Legion I to Legion X Numbering: I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, X.
The Valoisian Chevaliers where some of the best cavalry our planet had ever seen. With horse and man fully armoured the Valoisian where the best cavalry during their time and where feared throughout the continent Cirros. After the collapse of the first republic these units became the most reliable soldiers. This unit will be formed from the people of Cirros into armored units.
This will take a long time as well and is recommended that it takes place over the next 20 years.

This bill is unjust and was targeting a certain nobility in venland and was clearly a political move not relating to helping, improving or protecting the republic.
The reasons stated on why this bill needed to be approved are also wrong. Having a title does not give you more authority over any citizen of the republic. The title is just that a title like any other it hurts no one. The nobility have not been in power 229 years saying it gives power is a lie.
Say that you must earn something and not be born into something is a hypocritical stance how many people have inherited homes, money, possessions and land from their parents if you think this is ok then you must also think that this bill is unjust.
This is part of our heritage everyone's heritage nobles titles are historic and part of our culture. However the republic is getting rid of noble titles due to what nobles done in the past. The 2nd Patrian Social Care Act

The first Social Care Act is now over 20 years old, and has been through one cycle of amendments. It is high time to create act that will both combine the First Social Care Act, its Amendment and a new series of provisions. This new act will supersede any previous provisions or acts.
(Provisions 1-7 are a combination of the Provisions from “The Patrian Social Care Act” and “Amendment to the Patrian Social Care Act”)
1.The creation of the Patrian Welfare Agency (PWA), the leader officers of which will be appointed by a majority of Parliament This agency is tasked with the maintenance and service of any current or future programs decided for social welfare.
2.The creation of a Republic-backed unemployment pension, to be set equal to 85% of the minimum wage.
3.The creation of a Republic-backed retired unemployment pension, where anyone over the age of 65 will be allowed to retire with the funds being taken out of a portion of the taxes the retiree has paid to the government when employed+Plus a base to be set by the PWA. This can be in addition to private or corporate pension systems
4.The creation of a Republic-backed Child-Care, where any child under the age of mandatory schooling can be enrolled while their parents are at work.
5. The creation of a Republic backed Healthcare insurance, to be provided as an alternative to any corporate or private healthcare insurance. This insurance will cover all medical procedures costing under 200 RPD up to 85% and all costing over 200 RPD 100%
6.The creation of a Republican Healthcare institution to cover up the effects of on workplace injuries or any injuries given to the individual in service to the Patrian nation.
7.The creation of a new set of industry parks, aimed at the employment of the unemployed workers in Patria. These factories will produce goods aimed at consumers, to be sold at reduced costs. The Factories will be built by the Republic but can be sold to private investors and later subsidised up 50% of the total maintenance cost. These new industry parks can be constructed by the government until a certain balance of consumer goods is achieved
(Provisions 8-10 are a series of new provisions regarding Social Welfare)
8.Every person who pays an income tax are mandated to receive at least 20 days of paid days off, although any corporation may elect to give more.
9.Every person who pays an income tax are mandated to receive at least 4 weeks of Parental Leave when a new child is born. If a married couple are employed at the same organization, each are entitled to 4 weeks of leave. Any corporation may extend parental leave to any situation if they see fit, for example Adoption,Child illness or Death in the Family.
10.A new Republic-backed minimum wage is to be created, set at 15 PRD per hour. (Provisions 11-14 are a series of provisions regarding the prevention of the denial of these rights)
11.The preceding provisions can not be denied to a group of people on any grounds, whether it be class, race, wealth, religion etc. The act Applies to all areas of the workforce, whether it be Farmers, Laborers, Craftsmen, Scientists so long as they are a citizen of the Republic
12.The preceding provisions can not be denied to anyone living on the colonies, so long as they are citizens of the Republic
13. The preceding provisions can not be denied to any Alien Race, so long as the legally reside within the borders of the Republic.
14. No citizen of the Republic may be barred from creating or joining a Labour Union, unless the Union actively attempts violently overthrow the Republic.
15.The preceding provisions apply to Unions, unless the collective bargaining agreements set standards higher than the ones outlined in the act.

The Communal Building Safety Improvement Bill

1. In order to prevent another tragedy, such as the fires of 2218, occurring again, we must ensure that all buildings that span over 3 stories and are used primarily as rented or leased accommodation (more than 20% of the rooms are rented or owned by a persons different to the owner of the buildings) are appropriately fire proofed in accordance with the following criteria :

1) Any flammable insulator must be replaced with newer, inflammable insulator
2) All rooms should contain sprinklers that have the power to douse any fire less than 4x4m in less than 5 seconds
3) There must be a fire extinguisher within 10m of the apartment entrance

There will be a region-by-region rollout of this law, with the order to be decided based on lowest population to highest, to give the most affected regions more time to perform prep work. Each region will be given two years to complete its assessment of the buildings affected by the criteria mentioned in section
1. The process will work as follows:

1) The buildings identified as possessing the criteria in section 1 will need to be contacted by local government informing them of their obligations to the new standards.
2) The affected landowners will then be noted for a 50% tax break for a tax year, to act as a government subsidy for the expensive renovation work that they may need to perform. For those who already meet the requirements, this would be a reward for performing expensive safety work without legislation.
3) The government will then need to set deadlines for each landowner within the 2 year time frame in section 3, and assess their buildings after their deadline has been met to ensure it meets the new safety requirements.

Failure to meet these requirements can be punishable by unlimited fine, revocation of "Right to Rent" license, preventing unsafe apartments being rented, or in the case or repeat or serious offenders, up to 5 years jail time and governmental seizure of the dangerous building.

To help local governmental bodies carry out this huge task, there will be a spending package delivered to local bodies for use in hiring additional manpower to carry out the above tasks. This spending package will be decided by Parliament.

The Gang Crackdown and Police Force Empowerment Bill

We cannot ignore the root cause of the tragic fires that led to so many innocent bystanders dead or injured, and that is gang warfare. Given the huge damage and loss of life that they are capable of causing, they are a dangerous element of society that must be rooted out. This bill aims to a) empower law enforcement agencies and b) ensure gang members can be sufficiently reformed to become productive members of society.
1.1 All police will now be trained and equipped to carry a sidearm when operating in areas with strong gang presence, such as inner cities, to ensure that they can protect themselves and protect bystanders from gang members who regularly carry guns and will not hesitate to use them. Officers will be regimented to semi-annual (every 6 months) training sessions after their initial training to ensure that their firearms skills are at an acceptable level.
1.2 Officers may use their weapon when they feel a life is endangered by a criminal or if a criminal cannot be stopped by any other measures.
1.3 Officers will now wear small dash-cams as part of their uniform when carrying a firearm to ensure they can be held accountable if they misuse their weapons. Whenever an officer discharges their weapon and injures or kills a criminal, they will be subject to an investigation to ensure it was an appropriate use of force for the situation.
1.4 There will be a spending package for the distribution of weapons and training, value will be decided by Parliament
2.1 Being a member of a criminal gang is now a punishable offense by minimum 3 years in prison
2.2 When a criminal is incarcerated as part of a gang, there should be special effort made to place them in a prison where there is a low concentration of that gang, or any other gang, in an attempt to disperse gangs across the republic to prevent strong gang culture prevailing in prisons
2.3 When in prison, gang members should be subject to extreme educational upskilling in certain areas where demand for labour is strong. This should result in incarcerated persons gaining a skillset that allows them to achieve employment after incarceration.
2.4 There will be a funding package to be used for specifically increasing education efforts in prisons, value of [insert value here]
2.5 Any gang member found guilty of repeated offenses after multiple incarcerations should be subject to escalating punishment, ending with life imprisonment

Our Republic has an abundance of agricultural resources, but that doesn't necessarily mean that everyone has equal access to them. While a tremendous effort has already been made by the 'No Patrian Grows Hungry Act', an extension of the trial period was never voted on and the Republic is in need of a long term plan to ensure that the poorest do not have to spend a large portion of their income on basic needs like food. Therefore, this bill proposes to enact a system of food stamps.
With this act, food stamps will be distributed to those who have an income that is within a 10% range of the minimum wage (meaning everyone who earns less than 16,5 PRD per hour). People who fall in this category because they are unemployed can also obtain foodstamps if they participate in community service or if they can prove that they are actively looking for a job.
Food stamps will be distributed on a weekly basis. How many food stamps an individual receives is determined by how many people are dependent on them. A dependent person is someone who can not work (because they are still a minor or because they have a disability). In cases where both parents in a family are eligible to receive foodstamps, their children can not be listed as dependents of both parents to receive double the amount of food stamps.
One food stamp equals one meal, so on a weekly basis that would mean 21 food stamps per person. This number can be adjusted by colonial governments if due to a difference in the length of days, people would require more than 3 meals a day. A government commission, consisting of scientists and dietary specialists, will determine what the meals look like as to ensure a healthy and diverse diet.

Lastly this act calls for the several ruined sections of the Habitat to be repaired as is needed (1,500 energy per repair. 5 repairs total) to populate the station.
This bill also calls for the creation of a starbase over the Dirban Star System where Citizens Port is located and for the starbase to be fitted with a trade port to allow prosperity for the newly colonized habitat, a hanger bay equipped with Janoa Fighters to ensure the habitat is protected from possible threats and the expansion of the starport to allow a Trade Post & Offworld Trading Company to be created within the Starbase.

Wicklar IVa is a greatly habitable planet just outside of our southern borders. The planet is truly interesting as it has several forms of titanic animals that call the planet home. Although some of these predators may be dangerous we can more than handle them and we will also push for domesticating them if possible.
Tuagawa III T
uagawa has high gravity which will allow for increased alloy production and is also the only truly habitable planet in the far north that has been found so far

This vast increase in possible food sources also calls for some health and safety measurements to ensure that our citizens are not infected because our knowledge of alien food is lacking.
This bill therefore proposes to establish a Food Agency which will be tasked with setting food standards for the Republic, in its colonies but also on Patria. This Patrian Food Ageny will determine which alien crops and which alien life forms are safe for human consumption and are thus allowed to be sold on the market. The Food Agency will also be allowed to send inspectors to farms to ensure that health and safety standards are respected.

I wish to put my name forward as the governor for our far flung colony of Citizens Port. I have been the main governor a number of times for Venland but I believe the history in the region has led to a hatred between myself and the other candidates which risks social order. I grew up on a small family farm trying to make ends meet it has becoming increasingly harder for rural people to afloat as the bigger businesses are able to out produce and out sell them. The early life has given me a different perspective compared to people born in the cities and i'm a great support of rural communities. I hope with the following bill Citizens Port Main Colonial Population Act that brings in mostly rural people to citizens port it will be very good to have someone who understands them and what they want to achieve. This habitat will also allow a fresh start a blank canvas if you will I am a great support of different architecture designs with each village, town and city having a certain aesthetic with myself as governor over this habitat I can ensure that the small villages here will be beautiful and unique. 1.Farmers are to be given a direct subsidy of 1000 PRD based on the amount of crops produced I.This only applies to farm above a certain size (to be determined by the PWA) II.The amount crops that an individual farmer may produce will be capped at a limit in order to prevent overproduction and abuse of the subsidy
2.Any person who wishes to open a farm on any of the new colonized worlds may buy a plot of land from the government for 2 PRD per acre. I.They will also be provided a set of tools, a guide and seeds for there farm
3.The Patrian Welfare Agency is now authorized to conduct inspections of the Mines once every 6 months. If any mine is found to have a violation of the law, for every violation a fine of 500,000 PRD is to be assessed, capped at 5 million PRD. If the cap is reached the owner is to be imprisoned 6 months for every violation after, up to life in prison. I.Violations include (but are not limited to), Preventing Workers from Unionizing, giving pay below minimum wage, hostile work environment, dangerous conditions, putting profit over the welfare of the workers II.The full list of Violations is to be drawn up by the PWA and submit to Parliament for confirmation
4.Mine owners may sell excess minerals to the government at 1.25 times the market price, if the government later sells the minerals to another private organization the miner owner is entitled to receive half the profit. 1) Every person within the borders of the Republic
-The right of speech to be unmolested in Public unless it causes immediate danger.
-The right of individuals to their homes, forbidding the government to displace individuals from this Republic or their homes without Just Compensation.
-The right to privacy, persons, personal property and datalinks inaccessible by the state except through a court order. -The right to a fair and public trial with a lawyer provided by the state.
-The only way to have these rights revoked is to be currently be imprisoned for a felony offense a length greater than 4 years.
-These rights can be revoked by judicial decree, when substantial evidence has been presented to the Supreme Judicial Court, that exercising the rights in question would endanger the public or the nation as a whole.

Can one lose citizenship?.
This act will hopefully address all concerns.
1.Citizenship may only be acquired automatically when born to at least one parent with Citizenship of the Republic
2.If an individual is born to 2 people with the status of Permanent Resident will be given automatic citizenship at the age of 18
3.If an individual is born to 1 person with the status of Permanent Resident they will be given preferential status for the standard citizenship test
4.In order to become a naturalized citizen the following steps must be taken.
I.First acquiring the status of Permanent Residence
II.Living within the borders of the Republic for at least 5 years and demonstrated an employment for at least a year
III.Then prove that the individual has no Felony criminal history IV.Pass a test that inquires about basic Republican principles, civics duties, national history and cultural traditions.
5. To ensure the longevity of this bill and these measures are applied in accordance to the interest of the state of security of its residents, the Office for Migrational Affairs (O.M.A.) will be created.
I.They will handle every future potential alien species on a case by case basis
II. The OMA will act on guidelines created by Parliament on a 10 year basis
III. The OMA are to report their findings and opinions to Parliament who will then vote on whether or not to grant citizenship to the potential alien species.

This would allow them to settle their own criminal cases and still allow them to repeal to home world courts if they disagree with the decision. Also the local police should be able to handle arrest and unrest as best seen fit for the worlds standards. Both the chief of Police and Judicial head will be appointed by parliament to ensure all laws are upheld.

The United Patrian Front has managed to maintain their spot as the largest and most influential political party within the Patrian Republic and it's representatives have held the Chancellorship for Three Decades and the Vice Chancellorship for Two Decades.
The Union of Social Democrats

The Union of Social Democrats was formed from the International Workers Union and United Patrian Development Initiatives after the Electoral upset that the election of 2210. The party gained a total of 60 parliamentary seats in the 2220 election and was one of the main voices for legislative actions in the 2220-2230 session.

The Patriotic Party of Patria also known as the P.P.P. is one of the many newly established political parties within the Republic. Formed through a merger between the Humanity Protection Front and the Party of Oratish Views. The party saw a slight decline in parliamentary seats in the election of 2220 with their total seat count being reduced to 26 however they have managed to maintain a small hold on the Far Left of Patria's Parliament.

The Economic Prosperity Party made it's first breakthrough in the Election of 2200 after the party managed to successfully gain 49 Parliamentary Seats which was expanded to 54 Parliamentary Seats after the P.P.I. merged with the party and it's founder David Dotson was elected Vice Chancellor of the Republic.
However in the year 2210 the E.P.P. turned against the U.P.F. and David Dotson ran for Chancellorship. This gamble ultimately did not pay off and the party lost nearly half of its parliamentary seats which was further damaged by several members leaving and forming the E.R.P.P. In the 2220 Election the party lost several more seats ultimately standing at 26 Seats over a 50% Parliamentary Seat loss in Two decades. However under new leadership the E.P.P. hopes to regain its lost seats and more.

The Union of Social Democrats

The Union of Social Democrats was formed from the International Workers Union and United Patrian Development Initiatives after the Electoral upset that the election of 2210. The party gained a total of 60 parliamentary seats in the 2220 election and was one of the main voices for legislative actions in the 2220-2230 session.
The Patriotic Party of Patria

The Patriotic Party of Patria also known as the P.P.P. is one of the many newly established political parties within the Republic. Formed through a merger between the Humanity Protection Front and the Party of Oratish Views. The P.P.P. in the Parliamentary session of 2220-2230 has frequently been compared to the far right with it controlling the most seats out of any right leaning party.

T.O.M. has been around since 2200 and was one of the few political parties to leave the Election of 2210 unscathed neither losing nor gaining any Parliamentary Seats.
T.O.M. although only holding 35 parliamentary seats has managed to maintain a voice within parliament much louder than a party of it's size would typically be believed to have as it is one of the forefront members of the Progressive Coalition.
The Workers Majority Directive

The Workers Majority Directive was established in the year 2208 and made startling gains in the Election of 2220 after gaining a total of 30 parliamentary seats. The party saw a slight decline in parliamentary seats in the election of 2220 with their total seat count being reduced to 26 however they have managed to maintain a small hold on the Far Left of Patria's Parliament.
The Economic Prosperity Party

The Economic Prosperity Party made it's first breakthrough in the Election of 2200 after the party managed to successfully gain 49 Parliamentary Seats which was expanded to 54 Parliamentary Seats after the P.P.I. merged with the party and it's founder David Dotson was elected Vice Chancellor of the Republic.
However in the year 2210 the E.P.P. turned against the U.P.F. and David Dotson ran for Chancellorship. This gamble ultimately did not pay off and the party lost nearly half of its parliamentary seats which was further damaged by several members leaving and forming the E.R.P.P. In the 2220 Election the party lost several more seats ultimately standing at 26 Seats over a 50% Parliamentary Seat loss in Two decades. However under new leadership the E.P.P. hopes to regain its lost seats and more.
The Patrian Scientific League

The Patrian Scientific League has managed to maintain it's voice within Parliament two elections in a row mostly in part to the formation of the Progressive Coalition which the P.S.L. is typically considered the brains behind the union. However the P.S.L. lost several seats in the 2220 Election and was the target of several terror attacks greatly hurting the political party.

The Patrian Cultural Party is the oldest Poltiical Party within Parliament dating over a century old and although it is typically compared to Pro-Monarchist the party holds a firm stance it simply wants to preserve Patria's unique Culture. The P.C.P. in recent years has in the eyes of some grown ever more monarchist especially after Noble titles were taken away.
