On another note, some name proposals:
For our settled world in Alpha Centauri, the obvious name is Chiron (calling it Planet wouldn't really be workable IMHO)
Mining outposts on otherwise uninhabited worlds should be named after famous/infamous frontier settlements. I.e. Deadwood, Tombstone. Alternatively we can come up with new frontierish names for them (in the US at least they were usually either something moderately racist and/or vulgar or something ominous, so a mining operation on an ice-world might wind up being named "Hell's Snowball" or "Eskimo #####"). Mostly though we can probably leave them unnammed, since they are so numerous.
I'm not sure what other inhabited worlds we have (reading this and a good part of Blue Emus game the same day was a bad idea, they've started to bleed into each other in my mind). A brief empire summary might be helpful. Nothing too elaborate, just a star system, a population and maybe a one sentence description (i.e. "A newly colonized Mars-like world" or "Has alien ruins but is covered by a giant ice sheet").
For a naming scheme, I propose we submit names drawn from any work of science fiction and either vote on them or Rendap chooses the one he feels most suitable. So a world covered with ancient ruins might be nominated "Xa'Ha'Dum" (from Babylon 5), "Ilos" (from Mass Effect) and so forth.
