Many threads deal about wether or not their units should upgrade, wether 25% autonomy cap is fine, wether they should be forced to reform,...

However, there is one thing that I find most unpleasing when playing a horde and that has never been raised, which is about house peace events. Not the events themselves, but rather the fact that I need a truce for them not to fire. That in itself is still fine, if not for the fact that some hordes start in a state not fit for war. Yet, my people just don't care if I've just come to power yesterday, building my army and moving men to the border, or if I might need some spare manpower. No, they just want war day 1 or then they'll just rise and go to war against me, lowering my manpower further and moving my men away from my borders.

Dear Paradox, please allow for a grace period of at least 1 year to prepare every horde for the upcoming onslaught, because not every horde are the Timurids and can declare on some random OPM day 1 just for the sake of the truce.

These events are nonsense. Many steppe nations were relatively settled and did not clamour for war. I can understand them firing if the nation is strong, but they should not fire for weak or unready nations with small armies.

Also, upgradable units for steppe nations. They knew how to use guns.

Agreed. These events should at least have some requirements like the number of provinces, basetax or the strength of your neighbour countries. I'd hate to get those events with a nation like Kara Del, where almost every war would be nothing but suicide.

Perhaps a better requirement would be for them to fire if you are above a certain percentage of your maximum manpower...

Dunno, there'll always be some poor sod which get it fired on day 2 ... which happened to me earlier today. Whether the trigger is no truce or lots of manpower, either you need to have a respite at start, or it needs to be less random.

Edit : also, easily exploitable
