You can't take them on without them fracturing? Doesn't sound like you're too good at this game.

There are small problem with Norse GHW and Islamic Jihads. Yes you can target it but when you started it so you have to fight against full blown coalition which in most cases are all people in the world who knows anything about you.
When I play Norse or Muslim I often grant Caliph or Fylkir as minor vice-royality to the most oldest my vassal. Just to wait when he declare GHW for me. Yes sometimes he miserable missed but sometimes this is better then try to conquer one kingdom form mighty empire while fighting whole other world.
