Why? Tell me why this crazy High priestess call us, Mali, to GHW into the India?
It is far away any diplomatic range and it is now plagued by Black Death.
There are many possible target not so suicidal - Catholics realms, Arabia and Egypt, even Byzantine Empire. But no.
Only India is good target.

Why she hate us so much?

If you have a savegame from shortly before this happens, feel free to write a bug report and provide the save. Dev's said recently that this isn't intended and that they need saves from before it happening to figure it out.

Not related to your problem, but providing a lighter screenshot could be convenient, my uni does not provide a decent wi-fi, and it took nearly 20 seconds to load the screenshot. It would also make it easier to upload ^^

That's why being reformed Norse is so awesome. You decide where and who will face the wrath of the Gods. :p

Grats on doing a reformed West African campaign. I don't have the patience for sitting in some backwater, waiting for Muslims to fracture.

I didn't wait. I attacked muslim heretics as soon as it was possible and got all 5 holy sites before they were conquered by Ummayads. And then being already reformed I waited for techs to become feudal, change to more adequate succession and revoke rules.

I remember seeing somewhere that each religion has a set of weights placed on kingdoms to decide the target of crusades. The issue with West African is that there are only a handful of nearby kingdoms with a weighting. Once you have conquered all the kingdoms with Crusade weights the game just goes for the biggest Kingdom, which happens to be in India. I had this exact problem with reformed Romuva.

Not the biggest, certainly.
I had some work here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads/another-example-of-crusade-in-india.985442/
I think it really want to send my troops to the worst place possible.
Then I was far away from India - the game suggest it.
Now I have a province close to India, so the game sends me to Mongolia. :)

It's actually supposed to only target kingdoms that have a border with someone of your religion. It's a change we made for RIP.

I can confirm this occurs for Franticelli crusades as well. My Roman Empire holds some land in Persia, but none in India and their are no Franticelli provinces in India, yet the Pope has called 2 crusades for Indian kingdoms

In my current Zunbil/Afghanistan campaign, the High Priest of Zun called for one over in France, despite the closest holdings of the Zunist faith being over in Egypt, and that was isolated from the rest of the Empire as the next closest to that was over in Mesopotamia after it was also taken by a GHW.

RIP?

What, exactly, are you referring to there?
