Is to combine the Pagans AND Republics AND the Pontificate, and release a Roman Republic DLC (Where 'Pontifex Maximus" - colloquially known as "Pope" is a title to be bestowed/earned.)
based on the comments on the other threads, the graphical resources seem to have been made by staff from the EU4 dev team, so it's not like the CK2 dev team will be hindered by it (in fact, buying that DLC whether or not you play it funds the further development and expansion of CK2).Since they said they planned four DLCs for CKII, the fourth one better be damn good and jam packed with content and expanded mechanics.
This Aztec thing seems like a bloody waste, driving a wedge between the community and slowing further development of the game.
Can't you leave the ridiculous alternate history scenarios to the modders? Aztecs couldn't sale when Cortez discovered them, and they sure as hell couldn't sail in the 14th century. Aztec weapons were composed of wood and obsidian, and would only break upon contact with anything tougher than leather. In fact, the Aztecs weren't even a power in Meso-America until after the events of CKII
You mean to tell me that Paradox devs can snap their fingers and combine two different games in an instant? Granted, they use the same engine, but I still find it hard to believe that they aren't spending time and energy on Sunset Invasion.based on the comments on the other threads, the graphical resources seem to have been made by staff from the EU4 dev team, so it's not like the CK2 dev team will be hindered by it (in fact, buying that DLC whether or not you play it funds the further development and expansion of CK2).
i bet it's the zombie invasion or polynesian invasion of europe.
we have eastern and western invasions already, so it's only natural that the nords come next.
It's true, the next DLC is the invasion from the north of the Lich King with his nordic hordes.
During a fight with chaos demons, a single space marine chaplain is accidentally sent back in time to a random province in medieval europe.

Walmart Invasion? "The Blue Tide..."The obvious next DLC after aztes...
The worst is, even after all my complaining over the Aztec dlc, I would totally buy that. WH40K DLC just sounds awesome (although, according to the setting, the emperor was on Terra in the middle ages)During a fight with chaos demons, a single space marine chaplain is accidentally sent back in time to a random province in medieval europe.
