I would say the continued existence of the German and Italian Kleinstaaterei and the Ottomans sharing a border with Austria are more cursed. The map barely changed: Italy sort of unified, Prussia gained a few German minors but lost Posen, and it looks like the Ottomans recovered one state from Egypt. Otherwise, there is very little border change.

As I mentioned elsewhere, I play Vic3 with the Every State Independent mod. Some AI states are strong enough to expand, some are decently healthy, some fall into civil war (possibly repeatedly), and a few, well...
