No, i was using Warp. Just had the view hyperlanes tech.

This happened to me once, but not at the center of the galaxy. No way to reach the system, the solution was to use wormholes.
Who do I complain to that Betelgeuse isn't a pulsar?
And is it me or is there something odd about those asteroids?

That Bronze Age civilization has some powerful magic to conjure Space Amoeba on their side ...
Few minutes earlier i killed nine crytaline objects (3x3) that were also on their side (they were neutral and attaking them got me in a war/hostile with Bronze Age civilization - i wonder if i can attack their planet now ... UI shows that i can).

Incoming conspiracy theory, it was actually a ring system that got so bombarded it was pulverized into asteroids.

So I guess in some planet, Pajaro Escobar managed to conquer the world with his drug and money empire, spreading his fanatical materialist edict across the stars.
I once got the same thing for the quest of finding some void clouds. However, the solution was founds by killing a random void cloud (or was it abysmal host?) in a random system.
Unreachable quest ftw.
As it turns out they were all seperate empires, but two of them were vassals to the third, which I think supports the enlightened primitives theory.
Because of the names of all these asteroids I imagined Yormak to be some kind of space-borne dragon creature. Maybe the developers wanted to have such a creature, in this size, in the game, but they had to "kill" this creature called Yarmok because it bugged and / or lagged the game to hell. Maybe @Wiz can answer this question
