Unlikely. The Prethoryn mention that they follow them everywhere they go with inter-galactic space as their only safe hiding place. But the Prethoryn use some kind of biological Warp not Jump drives, which makes it unlikely that the Unbidden have any recognition that they exist. The Unbidden also are interdimensional invaders and should have no particular reason why intergalactic space would be any safer from them than anywhere else if there's enough intelligent creatures there to be worth purging.

He probably conquered that planet from someone else. In my sceenshots, those were just two of quite a few AI uprisings which I only noticed because I was surveying that area. Unless multiple crises can occur, since the Prethoryn appeared later (which the AI empires chose to ignore in favour of hating me), It is likely not the AI uprising crisis.
So Gaia planets are created by extensive bombardment and an outbreak of the space bubonic plague...

I've switched to them. At this point in time they have 649 minerals.
More than enough for an astro-mining bay or a agricultural zone, both of which they sorely need.

You could fit an entire Galaxy of Nomads in there. Never mind one species.
You can fit an entire Solar System in the very front of the barrel of a gun. The Engine alone probably cleanses everything behind them of life.
A group of engineers could get lost and accidentally start up a colony to be found a few decades later when a part near where they are breaks.

The Galactic Super-Dreadnought has its own precursor event chains, that allow you to find the crewquarters of the original crew.
If it is boarded, you'll need to create frontier outposts to secure the corridors.
Communications between the bridge and engineering require a Sentry Array for reception.

After another turn of ruining everything in the territory of filthy xeno empires, I got a message. From Awoken. They closed their borders for me. Cool! Another planet, or planets, already half-populated by potential synths!
But where they are exactly? Going to empire list and..
Psyonics? Psyonic awakening? Ha! That's a real transcendence.
