Speaking of struggling Ottomans:

I did nothing to influence that beyond making Ternate a tributary (which I suppose protected them up to this point) - they found their cojones when a big alliance led by a very powerful Milan attacked the Ottomans - right after Russia took a large bite out of them. Not a good time to be Turkish...

These personal unions completely messed up Europe for the rest of the game:
France under Hungary, Hungary won the succession war. A few years later France fought an independence war, won, but eventually lost half of the south to Spain. And never really recovered.

Brittany under Austria checked French and British expansion. Britanny was integrated a few decades later.

England under Austria, big war, then England declared its independence a few years later. A total paper tiger after all that mess tho.

When it was strong Hungary advanced all the way into eastern Ukraine (Lithuania) only to be beaten by the Ottomans later.

Austria lost a lot of power to Bohemia when it tried and failed to remain nr. 1 in HRE. They chose to stay Catholic and that was their downfall.

I got a few little ones

England fell under a PU with Portugal in 1448 (I only noticed 4 years later, blegh), to which Portugal was later able to integrate them (Though england had two wars for independence, both of which failed)

This, which is always fun to see when you're somewhere non-Europe based (Mind you, there also weren't any colonies in South America until 1570)

These two, where France failed to Francify French France
(Off to the left, though I focused on my nation)


And last but not least, look who the Ottomans managed to ally... Completely unrelated rivals too... Seems the Pope probably wants to convert the Sultan.
Also, I was proud to have Bohemia, Hungary, Brandenburg, and Byzantium as PUs

That Riga, though. I had nothing to do with eastern Europe, Poland is an ally but they are rivals to Riga. Also, Serbia is from rebels, way to go Ottoderps.

It has been so long since i last saw ming collapse, and last i saw it, they had retaken everything 20 years later. not this time... india is also a little strange, but ive found something odd almost always happens there.

Age tab doesn't say anything, people without MoH also have that tab, they just can't open it.

Yes, because for example Absolutism - which is a free feature - is dependent on Ages so a player without MoH has to be able to see when that Age appears.
