I just saw a weird Ming declare of war. Ming has exploration idea so they are colonizing Australia only problem? Spain is already a powerful nation with Australia CN and holding their own against a similar powerful English. To make matter worse for Ming they are actually losing their MoH. This is my first time ever seeing them NOT at 75+ MoH. The main reason they aren't at max MoH is because Russia border Ming which negate EVERY source of MoH they have passively-wise.
You can see where Russia/Ming border by the red/yellow province of interest. In additional you can see a tiny green snaking on the left side of Australia. I also show the idea group they have. That Ming pop up was the first time I noticed Ming had exploration unlocked and I didn't notice it for a long time.
You can see how they are losing MoH. A few year later they are below 25 MoH but no Mingplosion yet.
The main reason why Ming declared is because Spain is in middle of a HUGE colonial power vs colonial power war (Spain vs England). Ottoman is allied to England because of the mutual rival Austria. I don't recall who started the Spain vs England war although but it was definitely colonialism CB.
Of course that didn't even help Ming that much because they lost to Spain. Furthermore England/Spain white peaced out. Apparently neither side could make a definite push for victory.
