The trade good is rare to acquire in that province (<10% chance) so IMO it's very lucky. Plus, it should beat the fish you usually obtain from there.
So the Ottomans became an OPM in Crimea (without even a port) in this game, because of endless crusades against them perpetuated by me, so this alone isn't too strange. Strange part here: it looks like that they still had some big ambitions...I respect that.
More strange things in this game: Aragon somehow got a PU over Castile, annexed Portugal, and eventually formed Spain. However, they didn't take either Exploration or Expansion. The British and the French didn't take either until very late as well. Result: Colonialism didn't appear until the 1520s...in Brittany. It took awfully long for Colonialism to spread.

Perm start as MOS vassal. Player should quick make diplo-anexion. If player made the Perm to Marchy, still should be located in the north

Just found this while rummaging through my screenshots (it's from 1.15 or something like that):
"Nah, we're good".

Seems the 'Convert province' mission got confused, and now wants me to convert whole random GPs...
How can the same thing be different!?
How did Great Britain and France get claims on an inland province in Central America when they have no colonies anywhere near?
The bonus from completing Exploration is to be able to claim all colonial provinces ...
As an aside, I believe you'll have a hard time completing First Come first serve, simply due to the fact that you'd colonize to slow without the help from the AI (which you've locked out), You'd need the AI to colonize an estimate of 225-250ish provinces (that is, beyond the native provinces) and conquer those, to be there in time.
