If you have lucky nations on, matk, Spain gets +1/+1/+1 to monarch stats, so that'd normally be a 2/2/5 council, which is only very slightly above average.

I think regencies are slightly worse on average, though.

They get a reduction of -1 compared to regular monarchs to the result of the rolls.

Well, they're not the only nations to get good regencies. Man, these regencies are better than many of my rulers.

I should point out, that in the background of this last image, that is indeed British Sweden (via PU). My first glance made me think Denmark had inherited them somehow, but it was too bright.

Animist Victory in South East Africa.

Mutapa occasionally wins with Kilwa. But it usually breaks sooner or later because it never converts those lands as it is basically impossible and I have never seen Mutapa alive and with more than Mutapa at 1821. What would shock me would be conversion of these lands to animism

Indeed, I have seen Mutapa win a few times(even expand further north) but it always converted to Sunni later on.

(please don't pay attention to the name of nation, it is Mutapa, I use a mod changing some country names. Also at halfway through game I always disable TI to observe the world)

4) Of course he is white skinned
5) Mutapa has Defensive, Trade and Religious Ideas (!!!), all full, is like 12th biggest world economy and has 15 miltech compared with current European 19th
6) I am impressed
7) Especially as I have played 15 years more (no screenshots) and they ANNEXED Kilwa and Malindi and are converting their lands. No signs of revolts are seen.
