I use console to occasionally uncover terra incognita and look what's up in the faraway lands. Year 1569. This situation was already here by 1520s in similar borders so it's not ephemerical pre-fail state.

Cosmetic changed country names and few more tags in Indonesia, nothing more.

Two main anomalies here. One of them is weirdest functioning Timurids I have ever seen - I mean I have seen them horribly breaking many times but I haven't yet seen so weird Timurid who is actually major power.

Second anomaly is... Impossible to miss.

Second city ever embracing Calvinis doctrine, something like Geneva. One of three cultural centers of Calvinism (Reformed) propagating this faith to the entire world.

I guess in this one permanent settlement of Kola, settlement of deer hunters (fur trade good!), someone decided to embrace ethics of hard work while publishing literary works and providing charismatic speeches about the new vision of transcendent being.

I love the way reformation works in my Swedish run.

On the other hand, in my game Catholic empires all remain in Western Europe and Italy (British Isles, Scandinavia, Central Europe are overrun by protestants, east by Muslims) so I can imagine it being quite badass: a secret meeting of Pope, cardinals, kings and leaders of Spain, Portugal and France on isolated fortress on Atlantic island discussing global danger of reformation.

I love how can you be shocked at totally usual fact of Sweden attacking neighbor's rebels (AI is known to hate rebels regardless of who they are against and those are right next to Swedish capital) while not saying anything about the fact that SWEDEN IS HINDU XD

I did say that they're my vassal? xD. Actually I still don't know how that could happen even if Sweden's a free nation since Denmark would be their rival and would never allow Sweden troop enter their besieged province... or have the rule changed?

Just got vision of Europe. Burgundy is going strong. They are allied with Castille, Brittany, and Brandenburg vs the evil baguette. Brandenburg is decently sized (recently in my games they get smashed). Bavaria's only province is nuremburg lol.

Since this is CK 2 convert, a lot of things are to be expected. But seeing Finland and Kingdom of Suomi at the same time is interesting.

Of course i did not mess with the situation or i would not have posted it. AI did it all itself
Then again, there were hundred German nations, so seeing 2 Finnish nations may not be all that weird if you think about it.

EDIT: In case you are not aware, Suomi means Finland in Finnish. Aka there are 2 nations called Finland, one just has to be translated

So, France obviously forgot that lucky nations were turned off, and were severly punished for their aggression by the mother of all coalitions, a total of 31 nations!!! Playing as Ethiopia, I did not have any influence on this.

The aftermath of the Coalition War...

I don't think they will recover this time. I wonde who will be the major player in France
