Yeah it is not hard to happen since if the Caribbean CN with that island connected to Colombia has money and the rest of the region has been filled up it will colonize south which is unlikely to have been by anyone else beforehand. Colonizing enough to form CN is rare but even then not that much. Basically the most clear example of how silly the current ruleset is, really think it should either be one continent or at least countries with capital in either don't form CN on the other.

Yes, Kola. A province of 1 base tax, Sami deer hunters, tundra and probably almost nonexistant human population - barely populated even by standards of Sami nomadic people, first permanent Russian settlements appeared in year... 1466... - probably literally few thousands of people, becomes intellectual center of reformation. Second city ever embracing Calvinis doctrine, something like Geneva. One of three cultural centers of Calvinism (Reformed) propagating this faith to the entire world.

I guess in this one permanent settlement of Kola, settlement of deer hunters (fur trade good!), someone decided to embrace ethics of hard work while publishing literary works and providing charismatic speeches about the new vision of transcendent being.

The tooltip to convert shows where the centre will pop up which also allows you to change your mind if it is in a shitty location.

And yeah I wish I knew the logic since the last two times I converted with provinces like that the center popped up as far as possible from the main part of Europe.

Unfortunately I don't know how he did it because I started in Japan and didn't have vision. But I must say it looks glorious.

My god. Styria, Transylvania, the Byzantines, and Granada are all independent, Burgundy's alive but lost its northern half, Urbino ate the pope. That's just absurd.

Those Brandenburg borders. That incredibly small font used to write Commonwealth in Theodoro. That Castile. That Astrakhan. That Croatia. That Bulgaria. That Augsburg. That Urbino. That Albania.

This province was legitimately conquered, cored, and turned Irish from Bosnia. I may have bent the rules when it came to converting it to Catholicism.

I think I have found the longest - and also probably the most awesome regarding content to read - event in the game. Base game, Women in History DLC, Japan (don't get fooled by changed flag and name, it's cosmetic).

I made her admiral and send against European fleets. She beat them... Like in history when she smashed Portuguese, English and Chinese allied fleet.
