The Obligatory EUIV Strange Screenshot Thread

I just had to post this:
OK, long story short: I put EUIV in observe mode and went to do other things. When I came back I started touring the world and of all the bizarre things that had happened in my absence (Scotland owning England, Byzantium owning Balkans, Mamluks owning Ottomans, Hungary being Orthodox) the most crazy one was Japan. It's 1516 and Europeans havent set foot in Africa, neither have Japanese set foot in Europe. Bug? Or maybe it's coded in - I expect anything from this game now.

The massive "Kirishitan" revolts bug is a well documented problem for Japan. Until they fix it, I'd advise against playing in Japan.I just had to post this:

And I imagine that this might be one of the things that can trigger that bug:
Pretty sure England in 1444 didn't discover Kyoto. Mind you, I was running mods.
I haven't played as Byzantium myself yet, but I do have the phoenix dlc and this was an imported game of mine where Byzantium was op hax. And they were going around forcing countries to convert to Orthodoxy. So this might have been what happened.
Did you check any later start date prior to starting that game? It's a running hypothesis that that may be the source of the weirdness.And I imagine that this might be one of the things that can trigger that bug:

PU between Portugal and Burgundy resulted in full cores after death. They also inherited Burgundy's 80,000 man army. God help us.
I raise it with Portugal inhereting Austria (who was one decision away from forming HRE) along with it's vassals.

Slowly easing my way through the Protestant heresy, crying as my Authority takes a hit and rejoicing at the all-too-rare "BURN THE HERETICS" CB (I'm Emperor, but only get it on member nations I border with? Booooo!).
Milan took a province, Modena I think (Italian provinces seem to change hands more often than <insert over-used but still hilarious meme here>), and I saw they were allied with Provence. "OPM? Pfffft" I say... Wardec, and see France has joined in. Combination of "WTF" and "Awwww hell" later, I see this little gem:

Not strange, but it felt good nonetheless.
This is why the AI needs naval attrition.
Even for nomads, it must be hard to get around in that country.
Is it puppies? I hope it's puppies.
And it's not even in Africa...
It's the "Mamluk-Ottoman embargo war" and the Ottomans peaced out somehow, and we're all still fighting for some reason. The various coalition members were also white peacing sporadically, and I don't know how that's possible. It was a weird war though; the Mamluks attacked the Ottomans, the Commonwealth joined the coalition and inherited the war, and I (Portugal) got called into the war, inheriting it myself, so somewhere in there it must have screwed things up.

Btw, I have a question, when the leader of a PU is annexed, does the PU ends and a new king is chooseen, or does the leader of the PU become king of the minor ?

In the beginning the pope was catholic, then somehow Capua decided to invade Italy, leaving the Kingdom of Italy with two provinces in the north.
That part was interesting because the control of Italy was contested almost at 50/50 between Capua and Venice.
After some years the papal states rebelled and now control most of Italy, only one province is Orthodox(not Rome) but that doesn't stop the pope from being Orthodox.
The glorious United States of America! Central-South America, that is.
