I must say Island is too isolated:

Like WAY TOO ISOLATED

Surprisingly enough, the guy who have such ancestors turned out to be probably best looking giant i ever saw in this game, despite his family tree looking more like tangled hedge. Also he lost inbred trait after 3 generations of everyone in family having it.

Overall, inbred trait works very much differently than in CK2, there it given just flat our penalty to health that was killing almost everyone in infancy and here it mostly start to kill around 30+

BONUS, pls stop PDX, my sides are killing me

I think this reformation is at least a bit unusual:

Less than you think, it actually happened irl although much much later.

The name "Donyi-Polo" means "Sun-Moon", and was chosen for the religion in the process of its revitalisation and institutionalisation started in the 1970s in response to inroads made by Christianity and the possibility of absorption into Hinduism. The religion has developed a congregational system; hymns to be sung, composed in the Tani ritual language of shamans; a formalised philosophy-theology; and an iconography of the gods and temples. The pioneer of the revival was Talom Rukbo

Oh no, the fundamentalist Jomsvikings come to plunder. Lead by a fundementalist Asturleonese Muwalladi.

Asatru is nearly dead in this game. Scandinavia is mostly Catholic, with a significant Kabarite minority and only one or two Asatru provinces left.

Less than you think, it actually happened irl although much much later.
Interesting.

When he has a Son caled Sigurdr, the following exchange can happen:
"Sire, someone is trying to destroy Sigurdr!"
"My Son, the Realm or me?"
He's already a son of Sigurdr, so then it can be, "My father, my son, my house, my dynasty, the Realm, or me?"

Varangian adventured my viking dynasty onto indian soil in this campaign. It seems my fellow kinsmen has the adventurer spirit as well, just had a pop-up saying the cadet branch of Dongfang was created. turns out i got some han "vikings" up above in the Xi Xia kingdom. they may not be of norse culture but they certainly kept up with the norse names.
Ingeborg, Brage, Brynjólfr, ingemar and Håkon xD

I think I confused the game by mending the schism while the pope was preparing for a crusade. No idea what happens now
Also it just kinda tickles me that I mended the great schism 22 years before it really became "official" (kinda) though I know there were already differences

EDIT: So this just happened, honestly I don't know where to start

Started as custom Duke of Benevento (1066, Vassal of Papacy).

My Court Bishop has nine personality traits..?
That's Pope Gregory VII - he starts in the court of Pope Alexander II in 1066. I guess he left to wander and was pulled from the pool to be your court chaplain.
