Is this a coincidence or are the people at paradox laughing their asses off? Game of thrones House bolton? & ramsay with his dogs.

ive found Halfdan Svarti before with a house motto something along the lines of "we carve runes of xxxx" so i obviously thought it was Halfdan the black, because svarti means black. but i think it was randomly generated and pure coincidence as ive never found him again

Coincidence. Bolton is a town in England, and a barony in game, though its usage in this character is probably anachronistic. The dynasty name in your game is because he was likely landed there and the game sometimes take the dynasty name just from barony no matter the culture.
The dogs motto is also a coincidence because afaik even the largest houses gets completely random ones in game.

I think this reformation is at least a bit unusual:

The game does have a "Historical Database" for all known characters. However characters without historical data are just randomly generated as the game needs someone to put in place.
In somce cases even the traits and specialisation of named characters are randomized, as there was simply not enough data.

So much for wisdom haha

Wisdom taught him: "You do not need to outrun the bear - just the guy running with you."
The problem was that either there was no other guy - or the other guy was faster.

Tbh this event is quite creepy when pops up for relatively young character because usually proposed lover is quite old :D
My latest character got this twice for the Pope. I didn't take it, but it turned out one of my mayors did.

I'm the Duchess of Meissen.

Less "unusual" and more "good job, AI" but the AI is currently sitting on a temple with his siege weapons while his soldiers try to siege down a mountain fort in the same county.

And a wide hip was the beauty ideal for european women back in those days. It was seen as a sign of fertility.
Being obeses? It showed that you could afford to spend a lot on food (indeed it still does to this day in japan).
Wide hips have generally been a beauty ideal for women in most cultures. Wide waists, not so much.

What you wrote about contemporary Japan is patently untrue. The Japanese greatly prize slimness in women, and if a woman is overweight they will almost certainly be judged more negatively for it than they would be in the west.

You were farily specific about the Gender here.
Propably because you know I was talking about men when talking about Japan?

Well, the discussion was about female beauty ideals. However, if you're trying to say that obesity is considered attractive for men in contemporary Japan then that's also wrong.

I really like the fact that creating custom kingdoms and de jure drift can lead to some wonderful stuff like this. On the left, the de jure boundaries and on the right how things a currently divided. I'd say the British Isles are doing just fine.;)

I had one game where the de jure kingdom of Badajoz had migrated to northern Spain. Two Asturian duchies had drifted into it, while all its original territory was now de jure Andalusia.
