- its not because in the game situations like you described cant be mimicked so it does not exist, so it is pretty strange to see an pagan province in the middle of byzantine territory. BTW situation you described would be better represented by pagans holding single castle in a province controlled by empire, but not a whole province, but even then it would look strange from game mechanics POV.
Not really the AI very rarely go after single baronies if they have other cbs available.

Started as Fredrick Barbarossa's Father and well he ended up like this dead inside a year of illness after inheriting my new kingdom.
Also reconquista done inside 20 odd years of my start by the capets yeah i guess.

Italian liberation revolt for one county on a duke while the Kaiser who's army was wiped in a war has no trouble with his Italian subjects but not the poor Dutchman. Though i suppose he was excommunicated.

72 out of 0 troops seems legit.

Is it just me or do I see an Abbasid offshoot in India? WHY?

P.S. A revolter with only 72 troops is screwed with a captial "S", did he get his arse kicked? Or were there more rebels?

It might be inappropriate for me to post this here but...
I finally got fed up with all this border gore(and I've seen a LOT on this thread), especially the one caused by gavelkind in Christian realms, so I made this mod to make it so that it would be easier to get Primogeniture succession:
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=502848456

My reasoning for my change is in the link.
Check it out if you're interested.

In the Charlie start Egypt Africa and other sultans start as tributary states to the abbasids. I was hiding under the one in India as a sun Bro before 8 separate people holy warred him in different wars.

The revolter lost I think he had a duchy and one of the Indians holy war it but the war continued ticking in the abbasids favour.

Did you get the whole chain it ends well.
I disagree. It ends horribly. You get the lunatic trait after trying to stab the stupid kid with a knife in broad daylight.

You've never played the regent, now, have you?

But yes, for the child it ends well. Assuming you survive.....

Never knew you could do any of the regents events. Most of the ai regents gain 12 superpowers and become the biggest arsehole in the land. I just get nothing actually.

Chain fires If the kid has no heir, or the regent is up the line to inherit. I started a game in Abyssinia before the revolutionised east Africa, and the king was 5, heirless and I was his regent. I tried to kill him at least 4 times before going mad and trying to hack him to death with a knife.
Luckily the just sent me back to kassala.

Being a vassal can be fun, but beware of being thrown in the dungeon. You may never get out.

Admittedly not as strange as some other photos, but the idea of my character getting scandalised somebody younger than him by like 15 years slept with his niece-wife because "she's young enough to be his daughter" was quite funny to me

Also, the Byzantine Emperor is now the Catholic King of Italy and within 3 days of my priesthood being restored a Great Holy War had been called for Greece
