So, a Tengri adventurer took Crimea from me. I figured that I shouldn't work that hard to protect it.
He then proceeded to invade the Pechenegs and end their glorious rign, taking all of Wallachia. He didn't create the king title, and instead invaded Hungary.
Now, I could help my Hungarian allies but I wanted to see what happens. Best decision ever.
He won the war, burning all of his doom stacks in the process. Many good Christians didn't want to be controled by a Tengri, so they started factions.
Without his doomstacks, faction powers were high and many tiny revolts started (seems like those good Christians don't know how to cooperate). You can see the beggining of those revolts in the first screenshot.
One of the revolts won first, and the glorious Christian kingdom of Hungary has been restored- to three provinces. The former Tengri Hungary imploded, with the crimeans (the oroginal kind) getting most of the lands and the Tengri Moldau and Wallachia becoming independent.
Another Christian revolt started against Crimea, while to show gratitude for liberating Hungary- the former Hungarian revolts continued their revolts even against the new Christian king. A Tengri vassal of him started a one-province revolt too.

So our old friend Seljuk was blobbin', managed to convert Cumania to Sunni and with a strong Volga Bulgaria(formed by Bolghar) formed a strong sunni bloc.

I took a look at the religion tab and noticed a third autopat (besides the russian and lithuanian ones - yes, I holy warred the biggest lithuanian tribe to force it to convert to orthodox) and decided to take a look - turns out it was Persia's autopat. I was like "lolwut?"

At this stage about half of the dukes are orthodox and he's having his sons educated by orthodox guys and all are fairly young, so it's fairly likely that the mongols will face byzantine troops supporting Seljuk troops against them.

I assume this isn't normal, right?

It came about when Tengri Hungary invaded the Byzantines for Greece and then later a Crusade was called against the Hungarians. I think we won :)

Um, yup, debauchery and sin. That sounds like a chaste thing do to.
I do remember the guy actually being chaste, which is in fact the reason my dynasty lost Lotharingia for 2-3 generations, but the late king must have decided to somehting about his lack of a male heir... :D (not with much success as the only son he did get at an advanced age unfortunately got murdered by someone, but...)

Just like every 876 game, things are looking bleak for the Shia, all muslims in the world are Sunni... or are they? No, there actually is one independant Shia realm in the world... Khazar-cultured Cumania.
Cumania was taken by a Khazar adventurer several generations ago - Khazar stayed on the map that long and after conquest, the kings actually remained Khazar, unlike the Pechenegs who convert to Cuman every damn time they subjugate that kingdom. There was a now long-dead Shia Persia for a few decades, and apparantly it's responsible for this... And these Khazars may actually survive their new eastern neighbors, the two mongol branches have already wasted much of their stacks squabbling over some dumb county without having expanded much yet. (well, GH came out "ahead" and has a still threatening percentage of what they started with, but Ilkhanate is already pretty much done for at just 5 or so counties)
(in case you wonder about Bavaria in Russia, they got inherited by Ruthenia because my dynasty's Bavarian branch was, just like the Lotharingian one shortly earlier, too incompetent to have just one son... or at least marry matrilineally. The Dregovich king then died early (I didn't even kill him, he just died) had had an imbecile infant heir who then first lost Ruthenia to some other Russian dynasty and, after many squabbles, Bavaria ended up stabilizing under Spanheim-Ortenburg who also rose to kings of Hungary after centuries of being dukes around the same time (though they had briefly been kings for a few years earlier already), they seem highly cooperative for now, creating a central-eastern European great power. Meanwhile, actual Rus has been Finnish for centuries)

Not certain how "strange" this is, but it did give me a shock this morning before work.

Killed by her own lowborn Husband for reasons Unknown. This is going to bug me something fierce.

And yes, I am in a war with France. My wife (The Queen of Wales) decided to press a Welsh Claim for the Throne. Not a war I wanted, but so far we're winning (I'm just waiting for France to whistle up Burgundy). It helps when the Karlings are exiled to Italy, so you don't have the whole of mainland Europe crashing down on your head.
