While I was conquering India, a christian tribal ruler of a single county somehow managed to get his son on the purple throne. They held the empire of byzantine ever since and managed to convert it to Christianity by the year 923. Even though most of them died very young...

And I thought I was doing well by conquering half of India and forming an empire.

Queen Catherine of England really has a thing for Khazars.... she's had kids by three different Khazar men.

This popped up just after I installed Conclave and Reaper's Due, so there was all kinds of succession madness happening as the whole world tried to move from gavelkind to other options. However, these kids were presumably born when I was playing without those DLCs, so I think it's coincidence.

The next few years could be interesting.

I just had a very very very bizarre plotting logic! Notice, I am trying to keep the realm stable because my current ruler has lower military skill than I would liked. So I am looking at options to reduce the faction strength.

When I saw who one of my "conspiracy" partner was. I just had to stop and double checked! 1) He is supporting my plot and is known as baldr. You can see that I have lot of plot strength because the realm is still Germanic and he is a catholic vassal. 2) You can see by the diplomacy screen he is part of the same faction AND plotting to kill him. 3) Once he died. Baldr took over faction lead and dissipate afterward.

I just had to stop and laugh at this one. There was no common sense to kill one of your own faction leader and wreck your own chance to enforce something.

It only took like a week or two to poison Earl Oswine of Lancaster.

I wonder if this guy is a bit confused. How could hate the very thing you are ( He hates Gregarious people but he is one ). Playing with the Ck2 Plus mod.. But still.. Excuse me.. But you have to be confused if you despise Gregaious when you are one.

These are kinda old (pre-adjust on secret societies), but I really felt the impact of the balance on those things in one of my games.
Being the Reformed Norse Scandinavian Emperor myself, I was slightly surprised by what was happening to the Catholic world in the meantime when I was concentrated on the Eastern Front.

Behold the unreformed Suomenusko Emperor of Francia and Germany.

Also, Aztecs came and were not prepared to face the reformed Roman Empire. Now they're just hanging around in Northern Africa (for over 90 years now), preventing me from getting the "And Stay OUT" -achievement T_T
