I think you shall hold an eye on the Teutonics to, if you want provinces... when Poland, Sweden and Russia tear it apart, there use to be an oppertunity to grab a province for your self...

One year has passed one in the Leauge since the Tag dicidet to take up the loan. It hag made the Hansetic army stronger, it no had artillery, and bigger. This year everything was back to normal. We dicidet to used the 19 ducates on 1000 men and 2 merchants.

Then In May we get manage to get Etiophia to joine us in a royal marrige.

In August we get even more diplomatic going on when Oman joines our alliance and Astrakhan and Siberia trades maps.

In Nowember England trade maps aswell

We use the money for the usually 1000 recruits and 2 merchants.

Then in August the Tag has a metting. The council leder rose and says:

" Our war agent the Danish wasn't very succesfull, but I ahve coed up with a more peacfull way to make there life miserable. We can close our trade centers for them."

This was dicidet to do and so we no had a trade embargo agents the Danish.

Sure I havn't abandon it
It is just that that I ahve had a lot of things goving on latly, and therefore I havn't had that much time to play and write on the AAR.

Well Lord Jens if that is your meaning about the story I respect that, but I think that you might be kidding with me and that you haven't even read the AAR.

If you should really have ready it I must remind you that this is my first one and it can't be as good as Morlac's or Yoghurt's AARs, they are more experienced

You should write one your self and let us see how great your can get

The year started as the last couple of years had, we used the small amount of denars on 1000 new recruits and to send to merchants to Mecklenburg.
In February we dicide to loan Saxony three ducates and they gladly accept our offer.
In September our ambassador in Polen-Lithuania tells us that polen has accepted peace with Russia, Russia has to give Tula to Polen.
In the same month a letter from our Brandenburgian ambassador arrives in Mecklenburg. he tells that Brandenburg has completly annexed Prussia.

We start the year with recruiting troops and sending merchants so that we can keep out monopoly in Mecklenburg. The Danes are starting to get a little naughty again and the old hatred blows up in the Hansa. Many people wont to get revange over the danes.
Then in October our alliance ends. This seems very sceary for the innhabitants of the League and everybody is afraid that someone might attack us nio that we haven't got an allianca.

But the Hansa Tag mange to make a new alliance with the Danish enemy number one Sweden, Saxony and Pommeria.

Many people see on this as a sure sign that we will go to war against the Dans again, but when?
That is the big question among the innhabitants of the League as the days goes on and we are soone into 1511....

Well I think you should keep that monopoly in Mecklenburg, wait for the reformation, convert to protestantism and then start to build up an oversea Empire. First with cheap tp that will boost your Cot and then colonies.

I wouldnt DoW Denmark unless Sweden does it, then you could join. I also think you should keep an eye on the Teutons, maybe Sweden will DoW them and then you can join that adventure to

The years passed on and nothing important happened. Each year we used our money to recruit 1000 new recruits and sebd one merchant to Mecklenbur, since no they had becomed more chostly ro send so we could only afford one.

1515
We start the year with 1000 recruits to the glourius army and 1 merchant to Mecklenburg.
We countinue our exploration of the world and trade maps with England in January.
In august the Tag thinks that we are not good enough defended and a free bulid up of fortress happeneds. Result we no have a level 3 fortress in Mecklenburg.
31.october the Reformation happens, we are told that some guy called Martin Luther has refused the ricght faith in the Pope and God, anyway his belives seems to spread fast and both og our provinces turn protestantic along with the rest of the northern parts of Europe. The Tag will not risk any revolts and therefore our tolerance against protestantisme is rised very much, so that catholisism and protestantis is botha at the same level.

Seems like it precceds well. Defending the monolopy in Mecklen burg and slowly raising troops to strike down on possible rebellions in a future convertions seems as a good strategy until you actually do convert.

We countinue to build our army and defend the monopoly in Mecklenburg.
The in ovtober our ambassador in Brandenburg tells us that Brandenburg has entered into a war England, Milano, Polen-Lithuania and the Mameluks against France, Savoy, The Papal State, Lorraine and Switzerland.
The in December we are so lucky to have reached naval tech lkevel 5, this make it possible for us to build ship factories.

Countinuing in build up and monopoly defending.
In March our ambassador in Brandenburg tells us that he has been insulted very brutaly and we get a Casus Belli against Brandenburg for 12 months.
In May France manage to annex Milano after a short, but bloody attack on the city.

We build up 1000 new recruits and send an other merchant to Mecklenburg to defend our monopoly.
Then in May the elections of the empror for the Holy Roman Empire ends, we have casted our vote for Karl V and we await the result of the elections. Then we are told by a messanger from the elections, he runs into the Hansa Tag and speaks:

"My lords!
I have the honor to come from the elections of the empror with the result.."


The entire Tag is quitet as the messager speaks again:

" The new Empror of the Holy Roman Empire is....

Karl V."


The Tag is very satisfied with the result and it is celebrations in the entire Hanseatic League.

We countine to recruit 1000 new men this January as well and we send a merchant to Mecklenburg.
In May a letter arrives from the King of Portugal.

My dear members of the Hanseatic League.
I the King of Portugal proposes a Royal marriged between our two nations. This I am sure will make our relationship even closer and better. I hopoe for a positiv answear.
I have the honor of beeing a close friend of the League.
Writtened and signed by the king of Portugal

We accept the offer and enters a Royal Marriged with Portugal.
Then in June a glourius news come out. Our industry countinue to expand and we get a Acadamy of Arts for free in Mecklenburg.
In October our alliance end, but we are at once invited into an other one togheter with the Teutonic Order, Venezia and Nederland. We accept to enter the alliance and one month later Pommern does the same.
The future are looking bright as 1520 ends and we enters 1521...
