Actually England is in a better shape than Sweden. Sweden got -2 stab, with 4000 in stab costs. 9 loans give almost -15 ducats extra a month. It will take a long time to fix that situation.

England is also in pretty bad shape but not nearly as bad as Sweden.

England is in a much worse situation. Half of it is Sweden territory. 2-3 months and England is bankcorrupted with 15,5% inflation already. 75% of England is taken by rebels and soon breaking away. Swedens took all north america. The English fleet is sunked and there is no land army. England is finished.

i think 4k stab costs are exagerated. Unless i took reformed provinces in england. Also most of the convertions in NA failed. Also i thought taking provinces from humans gave almost no BB, sweden has too much of it. The loans came because of the terrible strain it was to fight in england and denmark, i tried to avoid them but it didnt work.

All in all, i gambled an all or nothing for england, were not for johns "fears" preventing the anexation for a 2nd time, and then bunkas trickery costing sweden 3 provs, and allot of cash and troops lost in the war, sweden could of have been better.

Hope alfonso can make a better job out of it. And sweden does have some 6 refineries and is close to trade 4, starting to trade is a good idea now ^^

Colonel in my opinion u did well. The problem was that u wanted too much and other reasonable players can not allow that to happen. Annexing England is something u shouldnt have tried. However u succeded with it. No matter how much u lost, now Sweden can take rest of England cos truce is over but got truce with every1 else. I dont know why dont u consider yourself a Winner. U captured all North America and Annexed all England. Sweden got loans and big stabcost but those are secondary. Not important. U had a huge victory over the whole community last session by annexing England. They failed to stop you. GG

Well i had a look at the situation. Ehmm CG what the hell were u doing in that game? England and Sweden basicly killed eachother while Portugal and Spain took everything. The whole world. Actually this is just foolish policy. U should have allied England and fight the Portugals and Spanish togeather. Now England is no more and Sweden is much much weaker then the Porto-Spain alliance. Its like Sweden alone against the whole world taken by them. Well it is foolish wrong strategy. England and Sweden killed eachother and won the game for Porto-Spain alliance. How can players be so blind?:wacko:

well the english player took a cot(holstein), hence the original reason of the attack. Besides you have france on your side and the biggest fleet in the game. Ull have atleast 4 or 5 cots, and still got swedens incoming row of big leaders/events to make the iberians suffer for their atrocities.

With the gangs and wars going on constantly over france,and englands player breaking deals and naps, it was simply impossible for us to focus on the expanding iberians. Also Russia is a friend, try to keep it that way.

So yea sweden went from being something in the north with bb and england as enemies, and iberians as possible enemies, to having places to colonise, places to trade and lots of new lands.

that income should go up to 90 or so once the WE dissipates. You can always ask some friend to borrow you money to pay off the loans ^^

but ye, the cannot fight anymore is generaly true for countries that have been at war for almost an entire session.

Well I could take control over Sweden after all. However the problem is the country need a long peace and i dislike haveing peace. The economy is a mass and i need to do soo many things with it to be able to fight again. Propably need 2 sessions of peace for that. In the while Proto-Spain alliance will just take 100% of the rest of the World: every CoT, Pagan land left and every free spot to build a colony. They also might just DoW Sweden again in the while and take a full control. Its like when u try to stop the unstopable. I would enjoy it a lot more to wage war as a land nation like subing France or something.

Well, since I don't think ghosting is fair to other nations I did my utmost to find a sub and in the end only CG was available so I guess this will see CG making a comeback to this game. Last session, there were some problems with Portugal taking some provinces due to TOT and adjacent ones defecting after the war. I trust in John to solve this but alternatively I can sell the whole lot for 1000d.
