Real men do not need friends - they need human nations to bully around in order to show who is the boss.
Of course, that does not properly mean that real men have to make every nation an enemy - it just means that real men should not forget that they have "cojones".
Which, mind you, is a thing that many players tend to forget, specially by getting lazy, engaging in peaceful expansion, gangs, or massive AI bashing.
By the way John - do not generate leaders yet. I will have to check the IDs errors Ear said to have, just in case it is something serious. I will also write an AAr but i do not have time at this moment, so i might edit the AAr rewards as well if you wish. Just be sure to show up in ICQ one or two hours before game start in order to generate leaders.

btw, it seems I didnt get any admirals last game, could be part of those ID errors. Cause they spawned when I loaded save, I got loads of sounds on spawning things right at startup..
I have checked the ID errors and there is nothing to worry about. The IDs Ear spoke about do not belong to any human nation, events, or historical leaders/monarchs. It was most likely some error regarding the creation of random leaders, which might have caused conflicts with an already existing ID. So i would like to know if someone did NOT receive their random leaders (do not even reply to this post if you did receive 2 generals and 2 admirals).

I got only 2 generals, no admirals, but I got one right at startup from the save, dunno why. Still one missing though

Game didnt go that bad after all, but we definetely need to get everyone's connection working. Seriously, we could have made another 10-15 years.
Also, another important thing people do not seem to understand - we need EVERYONE to connect to each other via comodo. If people are not shown as connected (Direct IP or Relay, doesnt matter which), there will be problems - people will not be able to hear others, CTDs might happen, amongst other things.
If you are having trouble to connect to other people, simply sign out, and come again. Keep repeating it till you connect. You might have to wait about 1 minute to connect to others sometimes, so dont be too hasty with signing out. If you are having problems with only one person, ask him to rejoin comodo as well. If it persists we might give it a shot and simply start the game, but remember you might experience problems with the person you cannot connect to (just like the problems i had with ear today). If your problem is with the host (as it happened to me once with Calad and twice with Martin), you will not be able to join using their comodo IP.
