Interesting. I'm always mildly skeptical of 2 week delays. It seems too little time, especially if the problem turns out to be more than they thought.
Maybe they're just afraid of Battletech affecting their sales.
Works for me. I got both preordered. Now if BT gets delayed to May 5th.... I'll just cry.
It is not a source of Kiva saying the game was 100% complete, which is what the person you were replying to asked for.

Yeah, they are terribly squishy. I also got bored that after a few shots I lose most of my weapons and I have more max armor on my kintaro which is only 55t.
I asked the source if the game being 100% complete not that her bug cue is empty. That source doesn't back up the claim.
I play the free Sun Spider as a fire support - I shoot what my assaults are shooting. Sometimes peak a bit.

Not very punchy, and pretty poor at peaking since you need to lock on with ATMs (an innersphere version of this mech would be way better with 4xMRM10), but the sustained fire supporting your assaults makes for a pretty strong assault lance.
It's a role better suited to a medium like a SHD-2K (3xermll, 3xmrm10) or a BSW-P1 (1xERLL, 4xmrm10) as that will allow your heavies to hold one flank while your assaults supported by mediums push the other flank. The heavies fight a retreat keeping the enemy assault lance at bay while your assaults push into their rear. Basically you slow down their NASCAR and take them in the rear. You can swap heavies and assaults if you want but slow assaults fighting a retreat are much more vulnerable than heavies performing that job and are often overrun.
So instead you can have a support heavy like the Sun Spider support your assaults as they fight the retreat and the remaining heavies and mediums push the opposite flank and take them from behind. This can be very effective if you have fast (81 kph) heavies and mediums with good firepower.
Of course, in a PUG it's pretty hard to get people to follow the plan and the Sun Spider isn't great going it alone as it's a big easy target to hit. So YMMV with this tactic.

A developer bragging that a game is done a week* before release should be looked at askance. There's always more to do, always another list with slightly lower priorities.
*if more than a week is claimed, you should just laugh. Or walk away from that 'purchase' button really, really fast.
Unfortunately, a lot of people use that as a "screw you" button. I've also gotten hit with it for relaying dev statements pertinent to the discussion at the time which they wished didn't exist because they really wanted those features that had been stated wouldn't be in the game.
That may be true, but in this specific case, I'm sure it is because they linked something that was not what was being asked for.
True. I was just trying to communicate to not take the button personally since it tends to get used willy-nilly.
I’d wait another year if you said it isn’t ready....but I so don’t want too. I can speak for everyone when I say I am so excited and am very great full for you and your teams dedication and passio. On the game so many of us have waited 20+ years to get. You guys are the best.
I feel ya dog but I would rather wait to have a pristine game if need be. But we both know that it wont happen. I am very much expecting a push off till may...but I pray that is not the case.I wouldn't. In fact I'm prepared to march on Seattle if it isn't released in April.
