The first beta of the NEW Victoria Flag Directory is ready to be opened to the public

Please put your feedback, comments, suggestions here. Note that this is a first beta, so there are a multitude of things that need to be changed. Here are just a few of them:

- HTML 4.01 Strict Compliance
- Easier World Navigation System

Is there a way to comment on a flag, just like in the older fashion, so that we can know where to use each flag?
For example
"Fictional Commie Union Jack"
or
"Revolutionary banner of the Hungarian insurectio"

The site definitely looks a lot better than the old one (also works better these days - the map on the old site no longer works properly, giving you the Carribean when you click on Europe and so on) but I do miss the description text, and there are a lot of flags by Other Author whose pictures say Picture Missing...obviously a bug or two still to work out.

The description text is still there, you just have to click on the actual flag name.

It will show you a page of the specific flag, and all its attributes (including the short description).

Also, for a text like "Fictional Commie Union Jack", that would have to be updated in the new "Special" field for the flag which indicates its name... but let's see what I can do about that.

Also, the ones with the pictures missing were made by an author that used to have a site with the previews, but no longer has them (but still has the flags available for download)

I from time to time happen to be programming another game, could I use any NON-Paradox flags in such a game without limitations, provided I give a link to that site and the name of the author in the credits? Or should I go around asking each author individually?

Ah this is good. I was noticing probs on the old one. When I clicked on North America I would get the Carabean. And North Ameirca was somewhere equally odd.

My deepest apologies, everyone for the continent imagemap mixup. I was doing some backend refactoring, and I correct the mistakes on the old site.

I am sooo sorry, but next time that you guys have this type of error, be sure to send me an e-mail or a PM about this sort of thing, so that I can get the error fixed as soon as I can!
