I was playing for the first time with the CSA in a game I all but finished. I loved it,really did. I barely got my army rebuilt in time to finish covering my borders, I ran out of manpower so I had trouble covering my flanks as my spearhead carved out chunks of the east, After Utah revolted I expanded out to meet them, all in all it really felt like playing the novel.
I know the peace events are still works in progress, but while I was playing I had trouble encircling US troops and a lot of them escpaed to the west via quebec before I annexed it. So after conquering New England I looked to the west. The US had started the war with 62 Divisons and 6 armored dvisons. By this point they were only down to 42 divisons, still had all their armor and with the revolts of Utah and Canada they had less terrotory to cover. So as I make my first strike I take Chicago when the peace event came up. I was hoping to deny it, but there were no options. Even with everything going wrong as it was, I belive the US very easily could have continued the fight with as many troops as they did have. Is there anyway that the US has to be down to a certain number of divisons before surrendering?
