Since there is an AI enhancement 13.b, would there be any conflict arise if i use both SMEP and 13.b? if not, which order shall i install them? HOI2 > 1.3 > 1.3a > 1.3b > SMEP??
Well, regarding the version numbering its a case of making it less confusing for whomever tries to download it, or thinks he has the latest version when he actually doesn`t.Atruejedi said:Yes, I am sloppy, but who cares? I make the mod, and it all makes sense to me![]()
Excellent; thank you. Appreciate the fast release (only got 5 more days until I head off to my 12 months of army-service aka hoi2-detox)Atruejedi said:New version is up, compatible with 1.3b.
Are they really neccessary to remove? Aren`t they the ones responsible for picking which ministers to use based on various criteria, and removing them alltogether *could* lead to the AI loosing alot of potential? (since the ministers hold alot of power...)Atruejedi said:Deleted all those friggin' AI minister events, that was the only real "overhaul" I had to make.![]()
Thank you. America on VH shall save the world once again.Atruejedi said:Good gaming!![]()

For putting events into the "wrong" files its a matter of making it confusing for other trying to make SMEP-compatible events, or rather more specifically the Consolidated China Improvement Packwhich I hope will make a SMEP-compatible version (at least the changelog "to be done" says so...). So its a matter of who gets the headaches here; either the original creator of it, me (I kinda mentioned I could "easily" do it, but I kinda dropped the ball when I saw how complex it could be, and the mod wasn`t done either) or you (pretty please)
Is there also any reason why you included tech-team portraits of von Falkenhausen and that american advisor whose name escapes me? It`s conflicting with GIP...(I`m using the mod-swap utility as well) Easy to fix of course for my part, just wondering why its there and not in sexxxileaders or something, seeing as they have tech-team portraits allready.

Anywho, I was playing your neat little alternate history campaign [I.E. letting Austria join the alliance], and the first time around it worked fine, however, every proceding game I played like that didn't work properly. Hungary never getting Transylvania, Romania never actually being remade, peices of France were occupied by Austria when the Vichy event kicked in, so France had land in, well, France. Also, Albania is somewhat of a first come, first serve country, as they end up joining the Allies. However, most of the time Germany kills them through Hungary, which is a collossal waste of time, because Hungary doesn't need a port city. Perhaps an event freeing Albania, or giving it to Italy if they're in the Axis? Also, I'd love to see this history taken farther, after the Balkans are sorted out, it pretty much plays regularly.

I played a new game as Japan ... beat China into submission ... Invaded the USA, pushed as far east as Missouri before being stopped and forced to hold the line ... But no event ever fired for the USA surrender ... I assume that I didn't have all the required provinces (Had all island, but ignored alaska) but here is where my question comes in ....
What event file is it in? I was checking them all and couldn't find it ... Sorry if I'm being too much of an idiot this late at night
Are you saying it takes more time after the surrender for the provinces to be ceded? Or that it takes some time after the negotiations for USSR to surrender? In my case USSR have already surrendered and I accepted, but the provinces have not been ceded. You are saying it takes a little more time for the provinces to be ceded after the surrender, right? Just making sure. Btw, great mod and the quickest updates too, most mods update quite long after patches.Atruejedi said:After negotiations it will take a week or more for the treaty to fire. Odd thing though - playing as Soviets on normal/normal (with 1.3a) I got the "Germany Surrenders" event and took "unconditional surrender" & nothing happened? Several months later I annexed Germany and now 2 months later (January 45) nothing else has happended? Just a huge Red Blob across Europe?
I did have Bulgaria & Romania change sides (though Bulgaria refuses to join the alliance) & I 'liberated' Greece - also 'Hitler Suicides' happened before the surrender. Something seems broken here or is it just me?
This was the previous 4.0 from December.
