I could never get into any mods, Venice is 'connected' with straits in Vanilla, does a good enough job.
I remember thinking the same thing. Now i'd say i can no longer get into Vanilla... And i really don't care!
edit: Venice is still connected by straits in other mods( like MyMAP), just an island.

Good to see you back with more AARs. I remember your old take on Venice, but I've forgotten the details - it'll be interesting to read it once again and see how you fare in this game. Let's hope it won't be a strategic fail. 
I've just started lurking around the AARs again after quite a while. I have to say I'm really pleased to see there are still EU2 AARs on the go - I never did get to grips with EU3.

, no matter how many times I say I will stay away, EU2 always tends to draw one back...and yes, I REALLY do want to complete this one, AARs are a nice personal record for me to view at a later date, hoping this will be a keeper. Hmm, that impostor sure put up a fight. Good thing that Milan pays for it now, through getting their province ravaged. You sure got a lot of booty from Ragusa and Bosnia... but I thought Ragusa's treasury was larger than that. I guess they used some of it on warships that you sank?

Yeah, they always buy a series of ships, then they started building troops after the DOW, so it does go down...and yeah, their ships were sank
I dont actually end up losing anything, dont make the ATD deadline for infra 4

Yep, he killed em, just added a few screenies with that.
Im not really sure yet, though I think I will go with de-centralized and take the bonus's like you say.

I just love it when you have a large cavalry army on plains against infantry armies. Gattamelata did a fine job there.

No, I think the largest received was around 730, just couldnt get onto the English Isles to include them.
