I hadn't really thought of that. I've never played any of the Scandanavian countries, so I don't know. I just based it on seeing that Denmark has a a larger military force and seemingly a better starting position. But that might be unfair to Brandenburg.
I dunno. Given my inexperience with either country, might be best if I were placed somewhere else, but I won't complain about Sweden.
A good opportunity to try something new. Either way it will be fine, but yeah, Sweden also has better events later on.
I've edited page one a bit. Added a rule against plundering American AI for obscene amounts of cash, set the gold inflation rule at 1% per 150 gold at the two dates, and defined the simultaneity rule a little better.
Also, TC, you might want to consider that in this mod Denmark looses Sweden as a vassal on day one. And as John said Sweden has much better events generally and really really good leaders for most of the 17th century.
Of course, with very good random leaders, the fact that Sweden has better leaders becomes less important.
After a bit of thought on the matter, I'll take Sweden over Denmark.

OK, I've tested with Krisz, TC and Husky today. We had a few issues with version and some router, but solved them quickly. It all worked well.

Is the starting time fixed at 19 CET? Ive got a lecture till 18 cet at university. I can go earlier tomorrow (or even miss it completely), but doing it every week isnt polite..i would favour 19:30 or 20 cet

We are intending to go at 19:30. It is just this first session we are going at 19.00 because CG can not play and also to eliminate as many first-session-issues as possible with a little wider window of playtime.Is the starting time fixed at 19 CET?

Yeah, I'm a bit curious myself. Why was it ok with me as the 11th player, but now it's better with only 10?
I would be intrigued to have Burgundy/Netherlands played. But for safety measures I'll prepare two saves, one with and one without Burgundy.

Van Engel in France, Krisz in England and Ampoliros in Brandenburg. What i wouldnt give to be Burgundy myself - i would be surrounded by a love squad! (i probably wouldnt be able to sit down for a week! oh boy)
Anyway there might be some unforeseen problems between the transaction of Flandern (late Burgundy) into Netherlands. That option is about 2 years old, if not more, and i have after that added events that allow a player to play in the Netherlands in 1550, and these might prove problematic with the previous refered events (that allow Flandern to morph into Netherlands).
But these problems, if they exist, will only apear much later in 1550 or something like that, so by then a new patch will be available to fix them so no worries.
