The mother of all DLCs

We all agree that female characters have little to do in this game which is probably appropriate for the game. But, for those of us interested, there could be a DLC created to empower women in this era. Ideas, some of which have already been mentioned, but combining here:

- Female Popes
- Enatic succession (female preference succession)
- Women leading armies
- Female councillors
- More events surrounding Queens/spouses

It can be released on Mother's Day. Think about it.

More events are of course always nice, especially if they are more closely tied with your set of traits and personal situation and don't just fire once a lifetime with every ruler. And maybe opening other council positions for women would be ok (mostly steward, and maybe (!) chancellor). But female popes, female marshals... I don't know.

Time and money was not wasted on SI: it was made in free time without using up the budget

More on topic: I think most of these, such as female generals can already be modded in. So there is little reason to make a DLC around it. An event chain about the legendary pope Joan would be fun, though.

This is an option in the mod CKII+, in which gender equality is enforced making all titles cognatic, allowing all councilors to be females etc etc.. No need to make it a DLC.

We are expecting domethinfg different now - especially more influence on a pope and his election, controlling republics and pagan DLC. I think that most of us are waiting for the last one - I am also interesting in playing pagan provinces, and now I can't rework ruler there even with ruler designer DLC...

As long as it turns in a profit, you really shouldn't mind even if they make a MLP:FiM DLC. Plenty of people, myself included, seem to have bought this, and you can expect any profits from somehow positively affecting CK2 and other projects down the line.

Complaining and sarcasm really are little more than childish and destructive.

Women were second class people in middle ages. With exception of some pagan societies women were virtually never allowed to hold important positions except in very rare emergencies and when a house was running out of living members.

I'm all in for women's rights but CK2 is not a place for them.

I am all for fleshing out the different roles women had in the era of CK, especially with more events. But these changes do nothing other than making them ahistorically more similar to men. Playing a female character should be different from playing a male character. Enatic succession might be interesting if the Tuareg are added (not sure about the details of their succession).

I'm sad for not taking a screenie, but I once had a female anti-pope, who was the actual Pope's daughter which I invited to my court, with a plan to marry her to one of my son. Once in my court, for some reason she became an anti-pope, she appeared in the religion tab and all tab, though she didn't have an actual bishopric title if I remember correctly.

And I found someone like me, though in the demo.
