If you go to the last page of the the list Darkrenown posted in the first page of the thread and work backwards, there are many many pages of users with 0 posts. And those are just the ones who registered. As for the ones who read without registering, I don't know if there's much to read without at least creating a username. You can only get the top level forum for all the new games, no OT, no subforums, etc.

I would disagree. There is tons of stuff to read without registering. I only registered on the forum months after browsing through the HOI (yes the first one) and EU forums. I needed to register to download mods, that was why I initially did it.

I lurked for the better part of two years before registering (it was the original Victoria that got me into Paradox games). Then again, restrictions might be tighter now.

Well my early forum habits are lost in the mists of time...I registered in the early days of the U.S. EU1 release. I may have lurked for awhile before that but I can't remember. I only tried browsing very briefly from another machine that didn't have my credentials cached before I posted that yesterday.

When i found EUII and bought it, and was looking for information, i almost immediately registered. Then again, EU2 was the first game i felt like spending time looking answers for... and therefore this is the only company forum i've registered to.

Guests to registered members online tends to be about 3 times as many guests as members at any given time.
And of course those guest are not all the same.

Aproximately 200,000 unique visitors to Paradoxplaza.com in a 7 day period last time I checked.
