If you look at the top posters, many are moderators.

Funnily enough posts in the moderator forums do not count. The last few years my post count remained almost stagnant as moderating is about all I do anymore (and the odd beta, time permitting). Back in the (very) old days I pretty much answered every game question and averaged over 50 posts a day (being a student helps). I'm still living off those posts

I always wondered another thing, how many people read this forum without ever registering to it or making a single post anywhere around the place. Do you have any stats on those "silent" readers? I was like that for quite a few years before I registered.

Looking at that list, I would consider Enewald the winner, since his join date is late 2007.

Several are installed, ut mostly EUIII, DV, Warband and Magicka. Not more mainly due to lack of time, lately.

I go in waves, I am on a major HOI III kick right now. But I have almost all installed. The major ones I play are HOI, EUIII (MEIOU of course), and Sengoku. But I see a transition to Vicky II once the new expansion comes out.

If you go to the last page of the the list Darkrenown posted in the first page of the thread and work backwards, there are many many pages of users with 0 posts. And those are just the ones who registered. As for the ones who read without registering, I don't know if there's much to read without at least creating a username. You can only get the top level forum for all the new games, no OT, no subforums, etc.

Mmm, maybe ease down a bit on the Budwiser, your calculations are a bit off.

Those 3 have 91,099 post, number 4 to 8 have a total of 108,556 posts.

My guess is much more since there are almost 12.9 million posts made on this forum.

I haven't totalled them, but it looks like the posters on the first page (30) have a total of about 400,000 posts.

I think the largest problem would be that the 12.9 million probably includes "all" posts, while the 400 thousand only counts "those posts made in forums where postcount is added for making a post"

I don't think the OT forum would make up a huge part of the postcount, would it?
