I'm watching a fascinating Australian series of documentaries on WWI and it's very interest how Ludendorff slowly went out of his mind after the continuous ineffective offensives and continual losses (the oddest was his reaction to the loss of his son). Then I remember the morose comments made by Turkish generals. This also happened in WWII in the Pacific, Eastern and certainly the Italian front to the various commanders who experienced both stunning victories and defeat after defeat. I wonder if leader traits have the ability to come and go with each general's experiences, which may also affect their stats. This actually reminds me of a more combat oriented version of the CK trait system. The state of mind of a leader is very important, it effects how he organises, rationalises and effectively use his forces. I hope a new system of traits are in HoI 2 will be implemented to represent this.
