That Scotland could've kicked Englands ass so long as they still tried to keep they're french claims.

That whenever Scotland goes to war with England, Burgundy will give you money

Seriously, I started a war with them in my Scotland game in 1407, and after four months my single cavalry army (2k) quickly discovered that England had ONLY 4k on the home islands, while I had 6k.

And during the five year war that followed, france sent me subsidies once, while Burgundy sent them over and over again. And when I went to war in 1420, and 1435...

Oh. And to always avoid the greenish blob in the middle east. Those Turks fight mean.

Oh. And to always avoid the greenish blob in the middle east. Those Turks fight mean.

Unless you fund Greek patriots in their territories. Then you just have to wait for their collapse. Provided, of course, you do it before Constantinople converts.

*Sieges cannot happen if the defender outnumbers the attacker.
*Nationalists, peasants, and patriots never refit their armies.
*The Dutch should be the most technologically advanced country. They've had max Free Subjects since the 1400s.
*If a country disappears because of patriot rebels, all treaties you had with it remain. Thus Berry will always be a French vassal, and Achaea will always be guaranteed by Venice.

well to be fair humans are faster then horses over long distances (afaik). Also both infantry and cavalry need food and supplies which are pulled on wagons that slow both down to the same pace.
Armies in the period never actually had anything like supply lines, they just had to forage off the local resources and if the number of men in an area exceeded the carrying capacity they started dying.
we are sorry, EU3 does not support this feature, to use suply lines please purchase HoI

* That our history books are lies, and the Iroquois actually colonized Europe, not vice-versa.

* Even if a king gets on a boat with 1000 of his best friends and sinks his own ship, the king will miraculously get home safely. His friends, however, are screwed.

* All successful wars from 1400-1600 were fought with nothing but cavalry, until the god Johan decreed that it should not be so.

* A patch is never late, it arrives when I mean it to do.

Even though three deckers had over 100 guns and displaced thousands of tons, they didn't have room to transport a single regiment of troops.

Apparently, China fell behind simply because of confucianism crippling her economy, and was generally poorer and less developed than Europe even in the late middle ages. Also, chinese people automatically researched stuff very slowly. Never mind the stuff about China being the world's largest economy, having the world's highest income per capita and even being the worlds technological leader for rather much of the EUIII time period, it's simply not true. :D

Also, the aztecs and incas weren't conquered by disease and a string of luck and opportunistic alliances for the spaniards; rather, they succumbed simply because the spaniards were like astronomically more advanced. Oh, and the valley of Mexico was apparently very poor and sparsely populated when the Aztecs were at their height.

Also, native american civilisations had no contact with each other, no centers of trade, and not even the aztecs could build stone fortifications of any kind.

And, apparently, there were no universities in India or the Islamic world in 1399.

Wait at least 4 years to buy a Paradox game, that way you'll be sure to get all the expansions and not be left with just the "Complete" edition. :p
