This series is a triple achievement run, as we look to pick up Hard Bargaining, The Levant Turnabout, and Arabian Coffee. Beginning as a great power, we are threatened to the North by the Ottomans, the East by the Timurids and AQ/QQ, and the South by inhospitable terrain and the minors of Arabia and East Africa. Looking West we see the wealthy Berber nations of North Africa with their penalizing core creation cost modifiers. We know of the fabulous wealth of Cathay and Malacca in the Far East, and it beckons us. We must prove we are truly deserving of the title - The Mighty Mamluks.

[1] Opening Moves: Ottoman Containment Strategy & No-CB Byzantium | Mighty Mamluks

In the first episode of this Let's Play as the Mamluks, our opening strategy is all about containing the Ottomans. We begin with a chain of 3 wars, including a no-cb war against Byzantium, to restrict the Turks' ability to expand.

Expanding in Arabia nets us the Fate of the Holy Cities bonus. A second war with Qara Qoyunlu leads to border gore.

[4] Georgia Gifts Us Dulkadir & A Coffee War with Yemen | Mighty Mamluks

Georgia is kind enough to gift us Dulkadir, who we annex, and we declare a coffee war with Yemen in Arabia. We also get pulled into 2 wars by our ally Ajam, including one against the Timurids. We nearly finish our first idea group, and work to catch up on technology following our development of the Renaissance.

[5] Austria & Ajam Help Us Win a War Against the Ottomans | Mighty Mamluks EU4 Let's Play

Using our Austrian ally is how to beat the Ottomans. They and Ajam help us win the war against the Ottos. At first only Austria is willing to help us kill the Turks. We focus on knocking out Tunis, then turn our attention to annexing Aq Qoyunlu. Ajam shows up late to the party, and we expand our vassal Byzantium.

We knock out an achievement - Cowardly Tactics! We also go to war with the Ottomans once more, visiting terrible destruction upon them. We're gonna wreck them. We're gonna kill them. Praise Allah, we're gonna destroy the Ottomans.

We go to war with Iraq for Baghdad, annex a derp, and annex a new subject in the East.

We form Arabia! And we get the Arabian Coffee Achievement! And we fight Sindh and go to war with Transoxiana and return cores to our vassal in Persia.

We go to war with Ajam and the Ottomans. We return cores to our vassal Khorasan in the Persia region. We clean up some derps and OPMs.
