Oh my gosh! This song's my favorite so far. These are really clever :D

"Hey Pope, don't make it bad" = Hey Jude by the Beatles :) . I really hate the song, though, because I went to the Mercado in San Antonio (Texas) and there was a Peruvian flute player who played Hey Jude twice, and then went on coffee break and put his CD on and the CD played Hey Jude, and then he came back and played it again and it drove me BONKERS :mad: :wacko: :D So yeah, in case you were wondering, you shouldn't play the Beatles on a panflute.

Now that was the hardest one this far. Well, not actually doing that but it took me long, long time of messing with other songs like Alice Coopers "Poison" until I got bored and ended up with that.

And on to replies.

Duke of Wellington: AC/DC is my all time favourite band and that song is in my opinion their best. Still, I find Village People one best this far.
And when I started thinking what song could fit converting, The Monkees came to my mind immediatetly and I think that song worked out REALLY well. Propably my best lyrics this far.

Snake IV: I try to not to fail old Knud III:s legacy.

Garuda: This is just so fun that I cant keep my hands off writing this. :D
School started today though so it will naturally slow me down.

Hajji Giray I: I loved that one, too. The song choice was so good it took me only about 15 minutes to make those lyrics, though fine tuning took another 20 until it was truly ready.

Now that song is considerably harder to follow but try to keep up with it, after you listen once you know all those tricks singer does to make your job harder. I propably should have chosen easier song to follow but I think that one is too perfect for subject and it would be crime not to use it.

Duke of Wellington: I didnt get any land in that war, I barely kept my own land myself. What I did was a little "cheat". King of Germany was excommunicated (it also most likely triggered that nasty civil war seen in previous update) so his titles were really cheap to grab so I grabbed few of them and made peace with him by giving those very same claims away. And I found that song to be the worst this one, only one I havent been satisfied yet. The song "Funkytown" I used is really catchy, though

phargle: That is a lot coming from the Grand Knud. I appreciate it but I myself didnt find that update too good, like I said, it is only one I havent been satisfied with yet.

RGB: Thank you. I am myself still a teenager so it is very possible you can recognize some teenager angst in lyrics.

Llywelyn: I was between it, "give land me" and "me give land" so I ended up with it. The original lyrics change the order of words (Take on me ---> take me on) so I did too. But I am glad you still liked it.

Great updates! I particularly liked the Take On-Me one. If only a cartoon music video of marauding crusader kings springing to life could accompany it..
