"Mayor Jollywell", the major of Jollywell, wanted to be remembered before he retired!
So he ordered a dam, bearing the name of "Jollywel Dam & Reservoir", to be constructed, just east of the city.
He was a bold, and stubborn man and told everyone that it was a perfectly safe location (stop whining!).
....Now Mayor Jollywell is remembered... for the late summer flood. The water found a new way to flow, and not even a single drop flow through the billion dollar lump of concrete :-(
