I am figuring the best way to draw all of my work going up in flames, at the moment.

Anyway, my next AAR, I will likely be utilizing between six and Graham's number of backups in order to ensure that this situation does not arise again. Speaking of which, I am now taking suggestions for the next AAR in the "Marginally Amusing" series. Whatever you think will be the most slightly funny, please put it in here. That means any Paradox game, as any character. I am also open to using mods. Excluding the ones I do not own (which would be anything that is not vanilla HoI3, EU3, EU4, CK2, CK - DV, Sengoku, or V2:HoD). Unless you're prepared to gift me the game, which hey, I can totally work with that.

Sorry to hear that Gela, though I'm glad to see that all your work at writing snappy narratives won't go to waste. I must say, the idea of a phoenix AAR to resurrect some of your existing story ideas is a great one, not to mention a rather positive attitude to what must be quite a frustrating situation.

Any game will do, but if you want to continue learning EUIV, perhaps take France for a spin? Should be an easy introduction - plus, it should allow you to beat up on the Austrians (for whom you seem to harbor an irrational hatred) early on.

But really, as stated at the beginning of my response, any game will do.

I haven't decided yet, because I'm busy with school. I'm thinking about doing a comedic narrative for CK2 and another Marginally Amusing (comedic gameplay) AAR for either Sengoku or EU4. But I'll have to see if I actually find Sengoku fun or not.

Just write a comedic something AAR and I'll be there.

Sengoku is basically a CKII Beta mod set in feudal (Sengoku, geddit?) Japan. Make of that what you will.

I don't own the game but would love to have a tutorial for it. Y'know, insofar as a marginally amusing Sengoku AAR would be a tutorial.

I vote CKII, mostly because I have it and not Sengoku.

My immediate thought would be 'take a lord, then make it your goal to claim the throne of an Empire that they have absolutely no cultural claim to'.

(Roman Empire as either German, Celtic or Norse, for example. You called them barbarians, but who's the barbarian now they've restored your empire for you?).

I really tried to make Sengoku work. Just couldn't do it.

The new Marginally Amusing AAR is coming along, I'm still trying to figure something out.
