The manual is clearly a hoax ... Is there a real one somewhere?

Paradox is normally excellent with manuals, which is why I assume this Majesty 2 pamphlet that came with my game must be a joke.

Are you seriously telling me that the manual for this game does not explain the different attributes of the various heroes?

Are you seriously telling me that it does not give any information at all about, say, the different Temple heroes and their attributes?

And is Paradox really, actually telling me that I need to purchase an additional game guide just to get the basic information about the units of this game?

Can someone please tell me where such information can be found, if I can't rely on Paradox to provide it?

Yeah I agree with that. While my friends all bought it from Steam I waited for two days for Amazon to send my copy because I like to actually own the physical game and manual. I was really surprised to find the manual so lacking in content but even more amazed to find the PDF file on the DVD not much better.

The manual was a letdown but by this point I'm already apathetic towards manuals. With rare exceptions they haven't been good since the 90's. I miss the days of full color in depth manuals that were so thick you could use them as a weapon. It's understandable why instruction manuals abandoned color and expensive paper (cost) but there's no excuse for omitting basic information.

I mean, it's one thing to have a poor manual -- lots of games have those. But this is a whole new level of incompetence. I can't even find out the most basic information one would have to know in order to plan a strategy.

What can Elves do that Rangers cannot? Who knows? I have to scour the internet for this information? Really?

What the hell to the Helia archers do? What are their strengths and weaknesses? Sorry, no way to know.

Honestly -- I might as well have downloaded the game from Pirate Bay. I would have exactly the same amount of information about this game.

At least its better than the manual that came with my motherboard. Reading Engrish is usually funny but that manual looked like someone used Google Translate. It seems like companies just don't care about manuals anymore.
