I realize that by the time I post this, you guys problably won't have any time left to implement anything. On the off-chance that any of my day-dreaming is feasible, it's all yours. Sorry for writing late (>>.,<<))''

I think there's one thing that's uniformly frustrating in all straetegy game; the inability on the part of the player to communitcate to the AI as if they were living. I'm really excited that Sengoku is going to be featuring plots, I think that a few other secret agreement'd be great too. Maybe marriage arrangement? Ie, a vassal who's very loyal to you has a daugther with really good skill points who's 17, and you have a heir who's only 14. In real life, the vassals'd problably be delighted to wait a few year - at the request of his lord - and have his daugther marries the heir apparent.

I imagine all of us that play straetegy on this large a scale because we enjoy scheming. Sometimes though, I try to do things some light-hearted tweak-achivement I imagine on my own. For example, are some character more beautiful/handsome than the other? I believe you guys know what I'm talking about. Kouhime (Nobunaga's sister) was rumoured to be the most beautiful women of her time. Damn me for mentioning it, but a certain game's protagonist even came to Japan for this very sake. (Those of you who know what I was talking about; Stop grinning so wide!) Seriously though, I'm not mentioning this because the image associated to Japan in popular web culture, but because it sound to me like a good idea even if the place changed. It might be fairly easy for you guys to implement this, I guess having a few characters looking better than the other'd do the trick (Japanese beauty also comes with easy reference - the facial structure from their animes - take Tifa from FFVII for example). The gal-game I mentioned earlier was only valid through a suspension of disbelief and its reality was comical, the reality Sengoku offers however seems to be on a different level.

Since the game's due in three weeks, this last parts' problably futile. It's about perception and assessment. I imagine that a ruler is only one man and he fends for himself. Maybe it's the same as in life: "I thought he's loyal but he stabbed me" "I thought he was smart but he was really useless." So we might not see the stats or the loyalty of their character but rather get an assessment of it. This may be the hardcore mode. Second priority messages - as oppose to the real important one like A-han declares war on B-han which problably is obvious - might also arrive in your court as rumours. Sometimes true, sometimes not.

If any/all of my ideas aren't valid, then I'm sorry for buggy you dev. team on a busy time. I'd be really happy if any person could tell me why it's not or why it is. This is my first post on the forum (after five dang days! lol); Hi, sempais. If there's anything I could be of help; seriously, within reasons, feel free.

A question please...How many wives can you have? It seems like a good way to add people to your court/cement relations between clans.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum! As for your question, you can arrange a betrothal between your underage son and the daughter of a vassal. As soon as they both become adults (16) the betrothal will turn into a marriage. So you can plan these things way in advance.

Nice! I've been hoping for this feature soooo many times when playing CK.
