If you have suggestions for potential reformation religions let me know. I have so far Hávamáltrú and Odinism, I won't tell what they mean or how they are created as that will be a surprise but if you guys have any cool names I could use I'll probably come up with something for them, all from mechanics all the way to their own backstory as how and why they are created. (i.e I want more than two but my brain doesn't wanna come up with more names)

Réttairn (That is srsly dodgy Norse, attempted translation of atoneism): A Gnostic form of Norse theology, it emphasises honour and a lack of possessions. Réttaer are humble and try to distance themselves from earthly objects. They see upholding oaths & honouring commitments as holy and it is not uncommon to see Réttaer as members of the Jomsvikings. Their patrion deity is Vár, the god of contract. They wouldn't be a major reformation religion persay, but they could be heretic revolters and/or have events relating to them.

Maybe have an heresy that works more about following the Vanir instead of the Aesir ? The Vanir are mostly mercantile, famers, maritime gods so it would go along a social revolution.

Is it not Vanir and Aesir in English? When I searched Vanes and Ases were all in French, or was/is Vanes and Ases more correct?

Baldurian Heresy - The belief that Ragnarok has already happened in the distant past and that the god Baldur (and other select gods) are the only remaining deities. Odin is replaced with Baldur as the figurehead in the Norse-Reformed religion and only the gods that survived are worshipped.

Has a bit of Christian undertones in that Baldur has returned from death and is the God of Light. So perhaps it's a heresy that started from a mish-mash of Norse and Christian beliefs in the more far-away countries bordering the Skäne empire

Milsariki Separatists

They deny that the Fylkir is the Valhalla's Champion on Earth and all men are equal in the eyes of Odin. Also that Milsariki doesn't need to pay homage to a distant figurehead and it's tithe offerings and donations should go to the country itself.

Perhaps have as a event-chain as a result of
a) Low Religious Authority
b) Growing Nationalism

That's great! I hope your AAR will become as legendary as Wiz's Hohenzollern megacampaign (if not more). Also, I'm curious if you will mod EU4 so that Skane would have mechanics of HRE from EU4 to make EU part of campaign more challenging as by the end of CK2 you are already strong and considering how big HRE got, you could instead divide it so HRE would have many vassals to nerf it at start, as old France was. As in my opinion the biggest issue of megacampaigns is that after the first game (CK2) you are already strong and in the next games (EU4, Vic2...) you don't have any challenge. What do you think?

No HRE stays as the HRE mechanics. I have a lot of stability issues added in to make Skåne start weaker. I have also slowed down colonization speed and missionary conversion harder.

Like this Weekend, maybe later. Trin Tragula promised to make me the Indian nations idea sets which is the only thing needed. Everything else is done, now I am just tweaking stuff to make sure everything flows smoothly and does what it is intended to do.


Ow yeah he told me the Indian nation of Cholas(or well dynasty) was known for their large navy or some such so I gave Cholas some colonies in South East Asia. Since the Muslims never managed to break the large Indian Empires South East Asia is also mostly Hindu now. The Empires of Pala and Chandals in India also act as a counter weight to the massive Seljuk Empire I've noticed.

Hey guys! Sorry for the inactivity on this AAR. Unfortunately it's dead because of version differing too much on EU4. However I am starting a new one with Holy Fury playing as the Original Prussians!
