Hmmm... I'll be following this, but I wonder about one thing: if you ally with Germany, will they ever be able to attack France? And if you don't, it'd be pretty difficult to get the cores you want.

When I get early art and my army is '36 I will build some arty brigades.
I'm planning to build 2 mtn and 2 cav and as much inf as possible.
All in corpse of 3 inf with either eng of art brigades.
I will build some '38 DD and '38 CL as escorts for the 2 '38 CA's. If I have the DD and CL, the fleet with early DD and early CL + 2 subs will go to batavia.

The 17 province's is not such an unlickly entity in an different history setting, Withought Alba and Farnese The lowlands could very possibly have looked like this now, possibly If the Dutch king in the early 19th century had played it better with the Belgians this could be how the Netherlands would look now.Plenty of possible reasons in history why it could have looked like this.

I have put all the ministers, leaders and tech teams of the 3 countries together. The king only has a symbolic use and the power lies with the ministers who can be Dutch, Belgian or Lux. And btw it doesn't matter by who you are rulled only the way you are treated makes a diffrence. ( only if you don't have a long tradition fighting each other: france vs uk )

Let's make things good with our fascist brothers in Germany, Italy and Spain.
Our navy as a first line of defense/attack moves into battle positions.
Our 12 medium SS are move to la coruña, the 3 other subs patrol the sea just outside Ghent. 6 divisions get the signal to prepare for embarkment, their destination la coruña. They are escorted with the 3 early CL and 2 early DD.
They arrived in la coruña, the 3rd corps started to move fo Burgos, the 2nd embarked again and landed in Oviedo which we captured without opposition.
With the arrival of our troops in la coruña our airforce got the orders to fly over.

The war so far:
We attack Valladolid with 6 inf ( all arty ) against 3 '18 inf div, the battle was won at 1000 aug 12.
That very same 12 aug at 2100 our landing party arrived in Huelva, the Republican fleet moved out of his harbour and had began navalwarfare with us.
The only 2 ships in Huelva were TP's and both were sank, 1 by Sumatra ( CL ) and the 12th SS flotille.
On the 14th aug at 0700 the attack on Albacete fond 2 '18 inf div, they were defeated the next day at 0900.
Meanwhile we are building '36 inf div ( 2 in serie ), they are supposed to be ready on Nov the 16th and Feb the 12th of the year '37.
After the landing in Huelva the escorts and the 3 remaining TP's in Seville got the orders to reinforce the nationalist positions in Tarragona, this was accomplished on aug the 16th.
In the night of the 19th we sank 1 SS flotille, again the 12th SS flotille made the kill. We then fond the weak spot of the Republican coast defense and landend the 24th in València. The ships in the harbour were 3 cl's and we sank one of them, Ruyter ( CL ) made the kill.
Our small surface fleet is being rebase to Ghent in order to escort 3 TP's full of '36 inf.

Yeah, they're a good spot to occupy. Italy's still weak and prone to losing its northern territories and you can likely run all over Switzerland... to be honest I was pondering it myself and figured that, yeah, it WAS a little gamey... guess I've just got a soft spot in my heart for old things coming back unexpectedly.
I hope that after we annex the Republicans I still control València, it would be very usefull for further operations in the mediterranean.
Maybe I can puppet Italy, if I go to war with them or else I won't have enough troops to defend/attack France. ( I'm not saying I will attack them, I'm just thinking about long time strategy )

After a few hours our troops in València were attacked by 11 Republican div, defeat was ahead so we loaded our troops back in the TP's and sailed for Tarragona.
We made a break in further advancement.
Troops were still marching for Albacete and were expected to arrive on the 6th of sept.
Our 6 div in Valladolid couldn't attack Madrid because there were to many Div from the Republicans.
And the other 3 div in Spain needed to Re-org. After this they got the orders to ship back to València, again when they unloaded from the ships they were attack but now only by 3 '18 inf divisions from Murcia. The battle took only 1 hour and the Republicans were defeated.
Therefore we decided another 3 div were needed, they arrived on in the night of the 5th in Seville. They moved out for the coast of Murcia and awaited further orders.
Meanwhile 3 divs in Albacete arrived and the signal to attack Murcia from 3 dirrections started.
The battle lasted from 0700 till 1600 sept 17th, we encounterd 5 '18 inf divisions but against our 9 divs they were no match for us.
On Sept the 8th we attack Madrid who was only defended by 3 '18inf and 1 militia the battle lasted till 1300.
The following day we will attack Guadalajara with the 6 divs who are being lazy.
