Actually (though I might remember it wrong), I think there's a weight variable modders can change in the defines that changes the AI's willingness to marry matrilineally. I do believe the Warhammer mod even increases it rather drastically (again, don't quote me on this). As a result, a female ruler is more likely to marry a lowborn matrilineally or not marry at all.
There isn’t, the Warhammer mod just added a decision rulers can take if they have more land than their spouse to force change the marriage type to favour them, basically an after the fact fix for the stupid ai.

Maybe she loved him, oh what strange things love can do to a person. Since the jewish countess is in a regular marriage her kids will most likely be good old christians agian so no long term damage I guess.

She married an another Jew. Now she has a son, who is also married to a Jewish girl. She is currently 65 and declared a holy war for York. Not so sure about the long term damage thing...
UPDATE: You were right eventually. She lost her war and all her troops and was counterattacked. Lincoln is in Christian hands again. But it won't be for a few years until all scars are healed (if you know what I mean)...

What mod are you running?
A Revolutionary Borders/Tooltip Font/Water/Map (dark) Mod and Additional Dynasty Shields. All can be found on the Steam Workshop and none of them change the checksum.

I know about that decision, though it's not what I meant. I cannot check the define file now, since I'm not at home, but I genuinely remember seeing such a value. In the Warhammer mod, for instance, trying to marry Malakith's mother is impossible due to her wanting a matrilineal marriage (check tooltip) with a much higher value than vanilla. Again, I'll check the file when I get home, tomorrow night.

Clearly she wanted some of his secret Jew gold, he wouldn't tell her which well he hid it in until they tied the knot.

Wait a moment... Isn't Jewishness meant to be passed matrilineally?

Issue is an AI issue where when the AI finds no 'suitable' spouse, its last resort is to marry a courtier in their court. At that point, for female rulers/heirs it forgets it could enforce its preference for a matrilineal marriage that was probably a reason for not finding a suitable spouse in the first place.

Just checked both vanilla and Warhammer, 5 minuses for trying to marry Malakith's mother as a king and the same result when trying to marry a queen in vanilla. In fact I compared both vanilla and Warhammers defines.lua files with winmerge, no values that where modified have any relation to matrilineal marriage.

That's necessary, if anything, the AI should be tweaked to search for matrilinear even less, since most of the times it ends holding off until it's too late and then marrying a lowborn, which is even worse.

Well then, I suppose my memory did play some trick on me. I'd be curious to find what line made me think this. Thanks for correcting me anyway.

It's one of the unfortunate side effects of the AI marriage mechanics being changed post Horse Lords without taking into account the needs of female rulers / heirs.

Courtier marriage w/ noble only happens through the "family_events".

This is the code.
Code:
      random_courtier = {
            limit = {
                OR = {
                    is_female = no
                    NOT = { age = 45 }
                }
                can_marry = FROM
            }
            add_spouse = FROM
        }

It randomly marries their son/daughter to a courtier if they are single (or the other option is: AI will put theirr son/daughter will be banished to a temple).
