Seriously, is anyone else annoyed by this? Velites were only 12/45ths of a legion, and of a far less important role, a Hastatus or a Princeps would've been a better representation

I wouldn't say it's a cult. Some people simply like a few pieces of acidic and sweet pineapple on their pizza, the same way that people eat sweet melon and jamon serrano. I guess this image is good enough for us to distinguish between 3 types of soldiers. Left is a Princeps. Right is a Hastatus. Bottom is a Levis.

I think using the Princeps for legion and Hastatus as the levied army would be a good choice.

If it's not going to be about the patch notes, because of some unexpected circumstances, I would either like to see UI rework #3, military tradtions or further balance changes like in the previous DD. I'm just droppin' this information here without any hidden motive like knowing a dev reading this thread.^^
